"LINGUISTIC HORIZONS OF THE XXI CENTURY." Organizer of the scientific forum
the department of English philology and world literature named after Oleg spoke
Mishukova. The event was opened with welcoming words by the rector of KhSU, Dr
of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, Vice-Rector of KhSU,
Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Serhiy Omelchuk, and Dean of the Faculty
of Ukrainian and foreign philology and journalism, candidate of pedagogy
Sciences, associate professor Iryna Goshtanar. Conference Plenary Papers
covered a wide range of topics such as "New works in cognitive
poetics", "How experimental methods help the study of nature
of translation", "Problems of evaluating students' oral translations in
online education", "The artistic language of the modern war drama",
"Modern discourse of information warfare" and others.
On the first day of the conference, a round table on the topic "Kherson" was held. Stories
of indomitability", at which the novel-chronicles "Occupation" were presented Kherson
