Conference Scope:

– Archaeology and ancient history;

– Historiography and source study;

– World history;

– Regional study: history of Southern Ukraine;

– Problems of history of Southern Ukraine.

Applications are accepted until May 16, 2011. The application should contain: name of the higher educational establishment, first, last and middle name, report name, line of investigation, phone number and/or e-mail address. Please state if you have a need in a hostel room for the time of the conference. Personal invitations will be sent after the application processing is complete.

Travel and dwelling costs are covered by the participants themselves (room at the hostel – 50-60 hryvni per day; hotel - 100-130 hryvni per day as of January, 2011). Organizational fee is 80 hryvni.

The participants will be registered on June 2 from 9 am to 12 pm at Kherson State University (building #5, 40 Rokiv Zovtnya str., 40, phone 8-0552-32-67-60 (administration of Institute of Psychology, History and Sociology).

The conference starts at 12 pm.

Materials of the conference will be published (up to 10 pages for each participant). Participants should apply their reports both in digital (on a disc) and hard-copy with personal signature and review of the scientific advisor during the conference (for the participants without a scientific degree).

Article requirements: page size – А4, upper margin – 2 cm, left margin 3 cm, right – 1 cm, font size – 14, interval– 1,5. Over the title to the right one should print the author’s name, followed by the text and ending with the sources list.
