Open science is a modern model of scientific activity that provides open access to research results, data, publications, methods, and interaction between researchers in a digital environment.
The goal of implementing the principles of open science at KSU is to increase transparency, accessibility, and high-quality interaction in the academic environment, in accordance with the National Action Plan for Open Science.
In 2024, KSU approved the Open Science Policy, which defines:
- principles of open access to research results;
- responsibilities of scientists to preserve, publish, and disseminate results;
- the role of the university in supporting open infrastructure.
