The Ukrainian spelling has been approved in a new version developed by the Ukrainian National Spelling Commission.
Leading philologists of the country and officials have developed a new version in accordance with the Ukrainian spelling tradition, taking into account the latest language phenomena. In particular, they returned a number of features of the "Kharkov" spelling, which they approved in 1928.
