Former Associate Professor Natalia Krugla is one of the founders of the chair. She worked at the university from 1999 to 2012. She taught color science, drawing, painting, exclusive techniques in fine arts. It is thanks to the teaching system of Natalia Leonidovna that the academic direction of the department was determined, which is a priority today. Among her students are many talented artists and teachers, including V. Rakovych, O. Gulyaeva, A. Kashuba, A. Maksimyshyn, O. Osnach, G. Leon, G. Kisla, M. Plikht, etc. It should be noted that N. was born. L. Krugla October 21, 1947 in the village. Petrovka, Shkotiv district, Primorsky Krai. 1970 - graduated from Odessa State Pedagogical Institute. KD Ushinsky, Faculty of Graphic Arts. (Teacher - Gegomyan VA) 1995 - Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Krugla NL's creative works attract attention with their romantic perception, picturesque sophistication, and great attention to detail. Major works: "Roosters" (1992), "Blue Lagoon" (1995), "Steppe grasses" (1995), "Autumn flowers with quince" (1994), etc.

Former painting teacher Anatoly Platonov was born in
Kherson. He graduated from Odessa State Art School. MV Grekova 1956
year. He stood at the origins of the Kherson organization of the Union of Artists.
He has the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine,
member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, worked in the technique of oil painting.
Master of architectural landscape. He was awarded the medal "For Labor
distinction "for outstanding merits in the development of art.
He worked as a teacher of painting at the chair of Fine Arts
KSU from 1998 to 1999.

Former teacher of the chair Berezhny Alexander, was born in
Satka of the Chelyabinsk region (Russia). In 1971 he graduated from the Art
graphic faculty of Odessa pedagogical institute named after KD Ushinsky.
Painter, works in watercolor and oil technique, member of the Union of Artists
Of Ukraine.
From 1998 to 1999 he worked at the Department of Fine Arts of KSU
drawing teacher. Traveler-climber, made an expedition in 1982
on Everest (works of the Himalayas. Everest - the third pole "," In the Himalayan
path "," Himalayas. Ama Dablam Peak ”). He participated in sea regattas
Atlantic (canvases "Bark" Comrade ", etc.).

Former Associate Professor of the chair Nadiya Postolova is an art critic. Crimean Art School named after Samokisha and Kyiv State Art Institute - Faculty of History and Theory of Art History (qualification: art critic). For more than 20 years she taught the history of fine arts at the Kherson School of Culture. From 1998 to 2020, almost from the time of the department's establishment, she taught the history of plastic arts at KSU. In 1989 - personal exhibition "Textile Collage" at the Kherson Art Museum. Author of many publications - manuals, reference books:

 

- manual "Plastic Arts" (2000);
- "Dictionary-reference book on plastic arts" for art and pedagogical specialties of universities (2003);
- "Monuments of Ukrainian plastic art of the X-XVIII centuries in chronological illustrated tables" (2003);
- manual "Symbols in the history of plastic arts" (2003);
- monograph "Woodcuts by A. Dürer" (2005);
- monograph "Graphics by F. Kider" (2007);

Former Senior teacher Gurich Zoya. She worked at the Department of Fine Arts and Design from 2000 to 2019. She made an invaluable contribution to the development of fine arts in the Kherson region. Prior to working at the faculty in the 1990s, she taught at the Children's Art School and the Kherson Lyceum of Design, where she continued her methodological and exhibition activities.

While working at the department she developed author's courses "Batik" and "Decorative and Applied Arts". She has participated in the organization of numerous student exhibitions. Since 2003 she has been active in exhibitions (all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions).

Since 2005 he has been a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists.

The artist is well acquainted with various techniques of artistic processing of textiles, in particular, cold batik and free painting on silk.

Former teacher of the chair Artem Maksimishin was born in Kherson in 1989. In 2013 he graduated from Kherson State University. From 2013 to 2020 he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Design of KSU. He studied at the graduate school at the International Humanities University (Odessa), majoring in Culturology. He works creatively in the technique of oil painting, computer graphics. Since 2013 he has been taking part in regional exhibitions. He taught courses: "Fundamentals of computer graphics", "Fundamentals of design: computer project", "Modern techniques of computer graphics", "Drawing", "Modern drawing techniques", "Modern painting techniques"

Daryna Pospielova, a teacher at the department, was born in 1997. In 2014-2019 she studied and graduated from Kherson State University. She started her exhibition activity in 2018 and is a participant of regional exhibitions. Since February 4, 2020 he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Design of KSU. Works creatively in the technique of drawing, computer graphics. Teaches courses: "Computer Graphics", "Computer Project".
