"CURRENT PROBLEMS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF THE MODERN TEACHER"

Today, November 10, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of professional training of a modern teacher" was held at Kherson State University on the Zoom platform. Teachers from 23 educational institutions of Ukraine joined the scientific event.
The event was planned to be held in the spring. But due to quarantine conditions, the conference had to be postponed and its format changed.
The event was organized by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy Lyubov Petukhova and pedagogical stuff of the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary Education of KSU, headed by Olena Sagan.
The conference participants discussed a number of important issues of the modern educational process in the Ukrainian school. Researchers considered the current problems of competence-oriented learning in modern educational institutions, integrated learning in the educational process, the formation of digital competence of teachers and the organization of psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs in general education institutions. The issues of modern tendencies in teaching foreign languages, culture of speech in the life of a professional communicator, modernization of education by means of innovative pedagogical technologies were not overlooked either.
Welcoming remarks were made by the rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, the dean of the pedagogical faculty Lyubov Petukhova and the first vice-rector Serhiy Omelchuk.
"Kherson State University cooperates with many educational institutions. After all, experience is always useful. It is thanks to such measures that we learn about new methods and techniques of teaching, pay attention to our weaknesses, and in the future look for ways to overcome them, "said Lyubov Petukhova.
Based on the reports at the conference, a collection of materials was published.
