Educational process at the Faculty of Medicine

The educational process at the Faculty of Medicine is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process at KSU and the current standards of higher education in Ukraine. These standards are currently approved for the first (Bachelor's) level of higher education in the following specialties: І7 Therapy and Rehabilitation, І2 Medicine, Е3 Chemistry, А014.06 Secondary Education (Chemistry), and І8 Pharmacy.

To facilitate laboratory and practical sessions, the Faculty of Medicine maintains specialized laboratories for:

  • General and Inorganic Chemistry;

  • Analytical, Physical, and Colloid Chemistry;

  • Drug Technology;

  • Organic Chemistry and Biological Chemistry;

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

  • Inorganic and Organic Synthesis.

Additionally, the faculty includes dedicated classrooms for Chemistry and Educational Technologies, as well as Family Medicine.

  

 

Thanks to close cooperation with medical and pharmaceutical institutions in Kherson, the faculty provides practical and laboratory training for students in Field of Study 22: Health Care and Social Security at the following facilities:

  • Pathology Department of the O.S. Luchanskyi Kherson City Clinical Hospital

  • Kherson Regional Public Health Center

  • Kherson Regional Oncology Dispensary

  • Kherson Regional Information and Analytical Center for Medical Statistics

  • Training and Education Department of the Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Assistance

  • Regional Base of Special Medical Supplies of the Kherson Region

This list is systematically expanding to ensure high-quality training for students in their 3rd to 6th years of the Specialty І2: Medicine.

 

  

 

Agreements for educational and industrial internships for the Faculty's students have been established with over 80 medical, pharmaceutical, and educational institutions, as well as industrial enterprises. These include:
