During the week of full-time study, we had extremely useful and exciting events — tactical medicine trainings, which were conducted by a 3rd-year student of the Medical Faculty of Therapy and Rehabilitation, an instructor of the Mykolaiv Police, Dudko Denis.
It was very cool: practical, meaningful, and as close as possible to real situations. We didn’t just listen — we learned to act! From our own experience, we learned how to properly use tourniquets, Israeli bandages, turn a person into a stable lateral position, and also conduct a self-examination and examination of the victim according to algorithms that save lives in the first minutes after injury.

The students practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills - vital assistance that saves lives in critical situations:
    - practice on mannequins,
    - practicing the action algorithm,
    - team interaction
    - everything so that each of us was ready to act quickly, confidently, and effectively.

We thank the instructor for his professionalism and clear delivery of complex material. Now we have basic skills that can be decisive in critical situations.
These trainings remind us once again: knowledge of medical science is not only about war, it is about responsibility and readiness to help at any moment.
