The US Department of State, the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Office of Private Sector Exchange Programs and the American Council on International Education are pleased to announce the opening of applications for participation in the "BridgeUSA: Exchange Program for Ukrainian Teachers" program.

“BridgeUSА: The program of exchanges for Ukrainian teachers" will contribute to the development of relationships between Ukrainian and American teachers and researchers for the purpose of joint research, exchange of pedagogical experience, development of training courses, as well as publication of scientific works. The long-term goal of the "BridgeUSA: Exchange Program for Ukrainian Teachers" project is to help Ukrainian universities in training specialists critically needed for the reconstruction and recovery of the country by building strong and productive cooperation with US higher education institutions.

Teachers participating in the program will work with mentor colleagues from US universities, with whom they will jointly develop individualized programs. These programs will be aimed at supporting BridgeUSA: Exchange Program for Ukrainian Educators as researchers and educators seeking to strengthen Ukraine's capacity for reconstruction.

“BridgeUSA: The exchange program for Ukrainian teachers" provides for visits of participants to US universities lasting 1 month, during which Ukrainian male and female teachers will be able to conduct scientific research, observe the conduct of classes in their discipline, develop new courses or course materials, conduct presentations and lectures, research administrative policies and academic culture of US universities, as well as attend conferences on the topics of their academic fields.
