The discipline "Remote Earth Sensing" is one of the fundamental disciplines for the training of geographers. Today, remote sensing methods have become one of the most effective ways of geographical envelope studying. The fields and areas of these methods usage are diverse and their number is increasing every year. Using remote sensing methods, the geographer assesses the natural conditions and features of the territory, studies the dynamics of various processes, studies the areas occupied by arable land, forests, reservoirs, settlements, assesses and monitors the ecological condition of the area, etc. An important feature of aerospace photography - the main discipline concept - is the complex reflection of all components of the geographical shell, so the images are a good basis for comprehensive geographical research, helping to consolidate the position of geography as a single science.


Geography of the world economy

Geography of the world economy is a normative discipline in the training of geographers bachelors. This course belongs to the block of basic geographical disciplines, namely it is a component of economic geography, so it is taught to all geography students. The subject is territorial and branch features of the structure of the modern world economy.


Tourist local lore

The object of tourist local lore studying are tourist macro-regions and individual countries. The subject of the study is general information about the tourist macro-regions of the world and tourist areas of individual states, as well as the natural and recreational potential of recreational and tourist resources of countries.

The course purpose is to acquaint students with the methods and features of a comprehensive study of the tourism industry of countries and regions of the world, data on the main types of tourist and recreational resources, major tourist centers and regions of the world.


Ecological geomorphology

Discipline "Environmental Geomorphology" is a professional discipline that forms the idea of anthropogenic transformation of relief and the impact of relief on human development.

The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with natural and anthropogenic morphogenesis and the impact of relief on human development.

Course objectives:

Theoretical: to study the features of natural morphogenesis. Investigate the features of anthropogenic morphogenesis. Determine the impact of relief on the nature of human activity.

Practical: to learn to determine the genesis of relief forms and assess its impact on the nature of human activity, as well as to determine human impact and the nature of the development of certain landforms.

The purpose of the course is to acquaint applicants with current trends and technologies in waste management and treatment.

Practical is learning to implement modern concepts of waste management and treatment in society.

The course "Regional Studies" is designed to acquaint higher education students with issues related to the study of regional features of natural resource potential, economy and population of the regions of Ukraine. The tasks of studying the discipline "Regional Studies" are the formation of students' clear understanding of the object, subject and objectives of the course as a scientific field in modern conditions and the main scientific principles of regional geography; identify the main geospatial features of the development of individual regions of Ukraine; highlight the main trends of modern regional policy in Ukraine and ways to improve it; to analyze the current regional policy in Ukraine and its effectiveness in improving the standard and quality of life in the regions; to acquaint students with the level of economic development of the regions.

The purpose of the discipline: the formation of basic knowledge of the theory of territorial organization of society and regional development on the principles and factors of location of productive forces, current problems of regional development, formation and functioning of regional socio-territorial systems, content and directions of regional policy.

-         - the nature and factors influencing individual and market supply and demand, the formation of market equilibrium;

-        determination by the enterprise of the optimal volume of production in different time periods;

-         conditions for maximizing the profits of enterprises operating in different market structures: perfect competition, monopolies, monopolistic competition, oligopolies.

 - patterns of behavior of microsystems in resource markets: labor market, capital, land.
