 NOTICE

Dear graduates!


If you studied in full-time education under a state-funded program and obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of knowledge "01 Education/Pedagogy," or a bachelor's or master's degree in another specialty and field of knowledge, and have entered into a contract for at least three years to work as a teaching staff member at a general secondary education institution or vocational (vocational-technical) education institution, you are entitled to receive a one-time targeted financial assistance in the amount of five times the living wage for working-age persons, established as of January 1 of the current year. This is in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1361 of 26.09.2006 "On Providing One-Time Targeted Financial Assistance to Certain Categories of Graduates of Higher Education Institutions" and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Order No. 1588 of 19.12.2019 "On Approving the Procedure for Providing One-Time Targeted Financial Assistance to Certain Categories of Graduates of Higher Education Institutions."

To apply, you must send the following documents to the email address

 

  1. A handwritten application for the assistance;
  2. The employment contract (the contract must be for at least 3 years);
  3. A copy of the labor book (each page of the labor book must be notarized);
  4. A notarized copy of the appointment order;
  5. A certificate from the place of employment;
  6. If you work in educational and training complexes "Preschool Education Institution - General Secondary Education Institution," "General Secondary Education Institution - Preschool Education Institution," you must provide a certificate from that institution confirming that you work as a teaching staff member ensuring the provision of general secondary education;
  7. If you changed your surname, a notarized copy of the marriage certificate;
  8. A notarized copy of your higher education diploma (without supplements);
  9. A copy of a document confirming your place of residence (passport, excerpt from the state register, etc.).

Career Services Sector for Students and Graduates

Main Tasks of the Sector for Employment Assistance of Students and Graduates:

  1. Facilitating employment of students and graduates.
  2. Establishing cooperation with the State Employment Service, enterprises, institutions, and organizations of all ownership types that may serve as potential employers.
  3. Summarizing and analyzing work related to employment assistance for students during their free time and after graduation.
  4. Informing students and graduates about available job vacancies at enterprises and institutions that match their educational qualifications.
  5. Coordinating activities of faculties and departments to ensure employment opportunities for students.
  6. Preparing and maintaining documentation and reporting data related to employment organization for students.

Main Functions of the Sector:

  1. Cooperation with potential employers to promptly fill job vacancies.
  2. Providing information about available jobs in accordance with the students' or graduates’ qualifications.
  3. Building business relations between the university and the employment services, enterprises, and organizations regarding employment.
  4. Creating a database of students seeking employment and accumulating contacts of potential employers for part-time work.
  5. Conducting awareness campaigns among students and graduates regarding legal acts on employment and labor relations.
  6. Correspondence with educational authorities (Ministry departments, district education offices, employers, employment services) on matters of student employment.
  7. Planning and coordinating the employment efforts of faculties and departments for students interested in part-time jobs.
  8. Informing faculties about current vacancies for graduate employment.
  9. Collaborating with student government to address employment-related issues.
  10. Submitting proposals to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding graduates who:Studied full-time under state funding; Earned a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of "01 Education/Pedagogy" or another specialty; Signed a minimum 3-year employment contract for positions in general or vocational (technical) education institutions.The sector advises graduates on preparing documentation to receive a one-time targeted financial assistance.
  11. Monitoring graduates who received one-time financial assistance and are working in general or vocational education institutions.
  12. Organizing employer meetings with students and graduates to discuss employment opportunities, including career days, job fairs, seminars, roundtables, and training events.
