Career Services Sector for Students and Graduates

Main Tasks of the Sector for Employment Assistance of Students and Graduates:
- Facilitating employment of students and graduates.
- Establishing cooperation with the State Employment Service, enterprises, institutions, and organizations of all ownership types that may serve as potential employers.
- Summarizing and analyzing work related to employment assistance for students during their free time and after graduation.
- Informing students and graduates about available job vacancies at enterprises and institutions that match their educational qualifications.
- Coordinating activities of faculties and departments to ensure employment opportunities for students.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation and reporting data related to employment organization for students.
Main Functions of the Sector:
- Cooperation with potential employers to promptly fill job vacancies.
- Providing information about available jobs in accordance with the students' or graduates’ qualifications.
- Building business relations between the university and the employment services, enterprises, and organizations regarding employment.
- Creating a database of students seeking employment and accumulating contacts of potential employers for part-time work.
- Conducting awareness campaigns among students and graduates regarding legal acts on employment and labor relations.
- Correspondence with educational authorities (Ministry departments, district education offices, employers, employment services) on matters of student employment.
- Planning and coordinating the employment efforts of faculties and departments for students interested in part-time jobs.
- Informing faculties about current vacancies for graduate employment.
- Collaborating with student government to address employment-related issues.
- Submitting proposals to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding graduates who:Studied full-time under state funding; Earned a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of "01 Education/Pedagogy" or another specialty; Signed a minimum 3-year employment contract for positions in general or vocational (technical) education institutions.The sector advises graduates on preparing documentation to receive a one-time targeted financial assistance.
- Monitoring graduates who received one-time financial assistance and are working in general or vocational education institutions.
- Organizing employer meetings with students and graduates to discuss employment opportunities, including career days, job fairs, seminars, roundtables, and training events.
