This week at the Faculty of History and Law was very eventful, because the Decade of Lawyers lasted! It is great that the traditions that the faculty started a long time ago continue successfully. First, the Department of Administrative and Economic Law and Law Enforcement was visited by a practitioner - Head of the Claims and Judicial Sector of the Legal Department of the Kherson City Council Tokuzan S., who shared his experience in a binary lecture on "Legal Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship" on the topic: City Council in disputes with the participation of the SPD ", then there was a round table with the participation of practitioners of law enforcement agencies of Kherson on the topic:" The profession of a lawyer: the formation of professional competencies. " On October 8, the Solemn General Meeting of the staff of the Faculty of History and Law was held to celebrate the Day of the Lawyer. Greetings from the leadership of KSU, heads of legal institutions, establishments, public authorities were heard here. Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between KSU and Kherson District Administrative Court. All departments of the faculty took part. Interesting and extremely relevant were the activities proposed by the Department of Branch Law and the Autumn School of Law "The role of practical professional activity in becoming a student of law" which was attended by various representatives of legal professions and career guidance event "Employer - law graduate" ("Job Fair"). which students could learn about the features of future professions, legal activities. Also on the initiative of associate professor Gavlovskaya AO A meeting-lecture was held with the Regional Coordinator of Public Relations of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in the Kherson Region OL Tropina. on the topic: "The direction of the Ombudsman's service in terms of reforming the law enforcement system."

On October 9, 2019, a meeting of students attending the Autumn School of Law with the head of the Main Department of the Patrol Police in the Kherson region Konstantin Drongal took place.

At the Faculty of History and Law with the participation of stakeholders held a "Job Fair" We thank the representatives of law enforcement and judicial authorities, human rights organizations: - Logozi TB (Deputy Chief of Staff of the Commercial Court in Kherson region); - Kovalenko IP (Chief of Staff of the Kherson District Administrative Court) and Gladunova OP (Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kherson District Administrative Court); - Eliseeva MI (Director of the regional center for free secondary legal aid in Kherson region); - Karpukhin Yu.Yu. (lawyer); - representatives of the Patrol Police in the Kherson region.

During the meeting, the head of the branch Oksana Kuzmich acquainted the students with the history of the probation service, informed about the purpose and tasks facing the probation authorities, especially in providing assistance to accountants, providing support and motivating them to change. In turn, the deputy head of the branch Eugene Poleschuk told the audience in more detail about the types of probation, interaction with government agencies, NGOs and suggested watching the presentation "Probation in Ukraine. Development and prospects ". Eugene also told the students about volunteer work related to probation. He invited future lawyers to become volunteers of our service and try not only to practice their strengths in the field of law, but also to gain new experience.

Pleasant events continue! Dean of the Faculty of History and Law Andriy Arkadyevich Kazanchan attended the presentation of a new novel "With special cruelty" by Andriy Oleksiyovych Osipov, who visited the students of the Kherson Academic Lyceum. OV Mishukov on the occasion of Lawyer's Day! Osipov Andriy is a well-known lawyer and public activist in Volyn, and is currently the chairman of the board of the Odessa Film Studio. Celebrations dedicated to the Lawyer's Day took place on October 8 at Kherson State University. On the occasion of the holiday, the university administration, faculty, students of the Faculty of History and Law of KSU and invited guests - leaders and leading specialists of legal institutions, institutions of Kherson region gathered in the festive hall. The solemn event was attended by the Chairman of the Kherson District Administrative Court Oleg Bezdrabko, First Deputy Head of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in the Kherson Region Oleg Predmesnikov, Chairman of the Commercial Court of the Kherson Region Pavel Priguza, Chairman of the Kherson Region Bar Council Inna Mokina, Deputy Head of the Kherson Region Eugene Lekhnovsky. Dean of the Faculty of History and Law Andriy Kazanchan noted that every year on October 8, Ukraine celebrates Lawyer's Day.

On October 8, 2019, in the conference hall of the KSU Scientific Library, the participants of the Autumn School of Law met with the head of the training center at the State Institution in Kherson region Viktor Stepanenko, who identified the main directions of the Center's work. on the practical side of patrol police activities. The students were interested in solving situational problems according to traffic rules and detaining a person.

On October 7, as part of the Decade of Law at the Faculty of History and Law, at the initiative of the Department of Administrative and Commercial Law and Law Enforcement, a Round Table was held with the participation of law enforcement practitioners in Kherson on the topic: "Legal profession: formation of professional competencies." Among the guests were representatives of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Investigation Department and Legal Support Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region - Lutsenko L., Benitsky A., in addition, the event was attended by the head of the claims department of the legal department of Kherson City Council Tokuzan S., Assistant Chairman of the Kherson District Administrative Court Osadchuk N., practicing lawyer and mediator - Petrenko N. and others. In a friendly dialogue, the parties identified priorities for the formation of professional competencies of lawyers, exchanged experiences, outlined areas for further cooperation and more. Today, September 11, 2019, a meeting of the head of the Patrol Police Department in the Kherson region Drongal Konstantin Anatoliyovych with students of the Faculty of History and Law took place in 305 classrooms. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of History and Law of Kazanchan Andriy Arkadyevich. The format of the meeting was quite casual. As part of an interesting dialogue, students had the opportunity to talk about the shortcomings and prospects of work in this service, the issue of registration of certain types of offenses and more. Students also had the opportunity to watch a video about the work of the Patrol Police Department, they were presented with special means of police protection. During the conversation, students received qualified answers to questions. At the end of the meeting, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Administrative and Commercial Law and Law Enforcement Pravotorova OM stressed that mastering the techniques and technologies of law enforcement is important to ensure public safety and order in their future profession.
