    The presentation of the Survey Report on the Population of De-occupied Territories of Ukraine took place.

    On October 30, 2024, during the presentation of the survey results on the population of de-occupied territories of Ukraine, key regional issues were discussed, and priorities for addressing them were identified. The study was conducted as part of the EURIZON project No. EU-3033, "Stimulating the Development of De-occupied Territories through the EU's Innovation and Investment Instruments."

History of the Department

History of the Creation and Existence of the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship

The establishment of the department at Kherson State University was preceded by many significant events.

In 1998, the Department of Economic and Legal Disciplines was created, and for the first time, an economic department was opened within the framework of the Economic and Legal Faculty of KSU.

In 2003, a separate Department of Business Economics was established, and the specialty "Business Economics" was opened, initially at the educational qualification level of "bachelor" and later at the level of "master."

Since 2011, the head of the department has been Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Mohnenko A.S.

In 2015, the specialty "Business Economics" was replaced with the specialty "Economics," and the department became the graduating department for the specialty "Economics" (specialization "Business Economics") at the educational qualification levels of bachelor and master.

In 2016, the department opened the specialty "Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Stock Exchange Activities" and the specialty "Finance, Banking, and Insurance" at the educational qualification level of "bachelor," and the department was renamed to the Department of Economics, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

In 2017, the department opened the specialty "Accounting and Taxation" at the educational qualification level of "master," and the department was renamed to the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.

In 2020, by the decision of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the educational programs "Accounting and Taxation" at the second (master's) level of higher education and "Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Stock Exchange Activities" at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education were accredited at the department.

In 2021, by the decision of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the educational program "Finance, Banking, and Insurance" at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education was accredited at the department.

Since 2022, the department has been headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Petrenko Viktoriya Serhiivna.

Currently, the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship operates within the Faculty of Business and Law at Kherson State University and is responsible for training specialists at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialties 014 Secondary Education (Labor Training and Technologies), 015 Professional Education (Agricultural Production, Processing of Agricultural Products, and Food Technologies), 072 Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Markets, and at the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialties 014 Secondary Education (Labor Training and Technologies), 015 Professional Education (Agricultural Production, Processing of Agricultural Products, and Food Technologies), and 071 Accounting and Taxation.
