Conference Proceedings
This year, first-year students joined university-wide events to celebrate Science Day. The Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Educational Management held a student scientific conference on "Current Problems of Social Psychology." The conference was attended by first-year students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Human Health, and Tourism. The attendees were welcomed with festive greetings and wishes for new creative discoveries by the head of the department, Associate Professor Iryna Korolova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Hanna Oleksandrivna, and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Tetiana Hryhorivna Chykalova.
Students prepared interesting presentations on issues such as the socialization of student youth, political and economic socialization of the younger generation, age-related features of socialization, the relationship between social psychology and medicine, and more. The presented problems were discussed enthusiastically and with great interest. The most active participants were Ruslan Borysenko, Maria Lyashenko, Maria Horvat, Kristina Harenko, Olena Vorobyova, Dasha Dmytrova, Anna Oleynyk, Anastasia Pylypenko, and Oleksiy Kaplin.
Particular interest was sparked by the presentation by first-year student Kristina Harenko, which was accompanied by an unconventional presentation.
We hope that the initial scientific steps made by first-year students during Science Day will become more confident over the years of study at the university.
