Congratulations to the applicants majoring in Journalism who took the first team place in the case study championship in media literacy at the First All-Ukrainian Hackathon ‘Labyrinths of Media Literacy: Unraveling the Knot of Information Warfare’ with the support of the Academy of Ukrainian Press (Sumy, 2023)

Congratulations to the applicant for the speciality "Journalism" Daria Boykova and her supervisor Andrii Solomakhin, who took first place in the nomination ‘Youth is a powerful potential for rebuilding the state!’ at the All-Ukrainian competition of creative works among young people dedicated to the Day of Civil Service of Ukraine (National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service) (Kyiv, 23 June 2022).

Congratulations to Kateryna Paliy, a student majoring in Journalism, who took part in the creative writing competition ‘Save Water - Take Care of the Future’ and won 1st place in the Best Essay nomination (Kherson, 2022).

Congratulations to the students majoring in Journalism who took part in the creative work competition implemented as part of the project ‘Preventing Domestic Violence in Kherson Together’ within the framework of cooperation between UNFPA and the NGO Innovative Social Solutions with the support of the UK Government (Kherson, 2022).

Congratulations to Sophia Krokhmal, Olesia Papish and their supervisor Svitlana Klymovych on their successful performance at the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers held at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. Sofia Krokhmal received a third degree diploma for her research "Semantic and Functional Features of Scientific Terminology in S. Protsiuk's Novel "Under the Wings of the Great Mother", and Olesia Papish won in the nomination "Contribution to the Study of the Linguistic Ecosystem of Social Networks" for her work on "Language Anomalies in Posts of Facebook Users"!

Congratulations to the team of graduate students and undergraduates of the Department of Ukrainian Language consisting of T. Mandych, D. Malenkova, T. Bondarenko, A. Syrotykina, Y. Yermolaeva, and V. Korneeva (supervisors - O. Karabuta, S. Klymovych, S. Martos) on winning the My Philological Startup project competition held on December 11, 2019 at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University!

  

Congratulations to the young scholar Tamara Mandych and her supervisor Olena Karabuta on winning the All-Ukrainian Essay Contest "My Franko" (Ivano-Frankivsk) and on taking second place in the final of the XVI International Competition "Lessons of War and Holocaust - Lessons of Tolerance" (Dnipro)!

Congratulations to the young scientist Tamara Mandych and her supervisor Olena Karabuta on the first place in the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific projects "Research of Young Scientists: from Idea to Implementation" (Kyiv) and on the first place in the All-Ukrainian essay competition "Józef Lobodowski and Modernity" (Lutsk)!

Congratulations on the successful performance at the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Ukrainian Language and Literature to Alina Shcherbyna and Kateryna Vertiuk! As a result of several days of struggle, Alina Shcherbyna (scientific advisors - Associate Professor O.P. Karabuta and Associate Professor A.V. Demchenko) took the third place!

Congratulations to the student of group 311 Tetiana Bondarenko and her supervisor - Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language Svitlana Klymovych on winning the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in Ukrainian language in Uman.

Congratulations to the student of group 251, Angelina Syrotkina, and her supervisor Olena Karabuta on the first place in the All-Ukrainian competition "Ukrainians Abroad: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" (Ostroh) in the nomination "Scientific Paper"!

Congratulations to undergraduate student Tamara Mandych and her supervisor, Associate Professor Olena Karabuta, on winning the III Volodymyr Maniak and Lydia Kovalenko International Interdisciplinary Competition of Scientific and Artistic Works (Kyiv). The research "The Concept of the Holodomor in the Linguistic Picture of the World of Ukrainians" was awarded first place in the nomination "The Best Scientific and Artistic Works of Students, Postgraduates, and Scientists (Under 35)"

Congratulations on winning the final stage of the XVIII Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition! Tamara Mandych, a first-year master student (supervisor - Associate Professor O.P. Karabuta) took the second place!

Congratulations to the fourth-year student E.Zhuravleva (scientific adviser - Associate Professor S.Martos) on her successful defense at the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in Sociolinguistics held at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv! Among the best young sociolinguists of Ukraine, Yelyzaveta was awarded "For the relevance of the research topic"!

We are pleased with the high results of the students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism A. Shcherbyna and E. Nikitenko! A.Shcherbyna took the third place in the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Ukrainian Language and Literature (Kyiv)!✍️Doctor of Philology, Professor M.Y. Plyushch congratulated the students!

According to the results of the final conference of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the Ukrainian language and literature (with methods of teaching them), Tamara Mandych, a master's student of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, and Olena Karabuta, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language, took first place!
