Laboratory passport
The laboratory carries out measurements in the field of control of the state of the environment, carries out analytical control over the composition of return waters of industrial enterprises and organizations of Kherson, which are discharged into the city sewerage network. The object of the laboratory's research in the field of environmental control is wastewater (return).
The study is carried out under an agreement concluded between the university management and the private joint-stock company "Chaplinsky butter and cheese factory" (state registration number №3-2 / 2019-24 / 02vgd from 20.02.2019 and №3 / 2020-19 / 02vgd from 05.02.2020)
The purpose of the study is to control the composition of wastewater discharged by enterprises of Kherson into the city sewerage system and to help improve the environmental situation in the region.
The laboratory works according to standardized methods. The laboratory carries out control in return waters:
concentrations of pollutants;
physico-chemical parameters.
Developed and certified methods for determining 28 types of pollutants in wastewater (salts of heavy metals, phenols, petroleum products). The laboratory is equipped with premises, measuring equipment, test equipment, chemical reagents and materials. The laboratory also monitors the dynamics of the chemical composition of the water of the Dnieper River near Kherson, publishes this information on television, radio and in the local press.
