Updated: 1/24/2026

Soft Skills are a set of behavioral skills that are responsible for successful participation in the work process (in particular, teamwork), high productivity, and also help to successfully socialize. Soft Skills allow you to be successful regardless of the specifics of the activity and the direction in which a person works. Traditionally, in psychology they are classified as social skills.

The disciplines taught at the Department of Medicine aim to develop such competencies as soft skills, such as the ability to act socially, responsibly and with civic consciousness, the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations, the desire to preserve the environment, the ability to learn and be modernly trained, the ability to show initiative, the ability to adapt and act in a new situation, the ability to communicate in your native language, the ability to communicate in a second language, the skills of using information and communication technologies, the ability to choose a communication strategy, the ability to work in a team.
