Target group: Deputies of local councils, leaders of united territorial communities, local authorities.

The main goal of the project is to train community leaders and local council deputies to manage public finances, staff in local authorities and to be ready for changes related to the reform of territorial self-government in Ukraine.

Project objectives: to provide training and retraining of local government specialists and deputies of local councils, which will support the decentralization processes and the success of the Ukrainian reform of the administrative-territorial system through communication and interaction.

To achieve the goals, the following measures will be taken:

-      During May-June 2021 classes will be held in the form of 5 two-day sessions of 15 teaching hours in each session;

-      During September-October 2021 classes will be held in the form of 5 two-day sessions of 15 teaching hours in each session:

-      During November 2021 the qualification works of the project participants will be defended.

Current results of the project: advanced training in the following areas: leadership; European integration; communication and interaction; project management; development of territorial communities; strategic management and planning; strategic communications; change management; staff management in local governments; public finance management.
