КА1: Mobility of students in higher education

Higher education institutions from partner countries, including Ukraine, can be partner universities from Europe to organize projects on mobility for students.

Goals:

• Provide more opportunities for developing students' skills and competences, attracting the best talent from abroad.

Main activities in the field:

Credit mobility, including studying at universities in exchange and internships - practice in companies abroad: mobility for students is open to partner countries in both directions (NEW)

·        Degree mobility: Exemplary joint master's programs offered by universities in Europe and, in some cases, partner countries attracting the best students from all over the world.

·         Student Loans Guarantees (NEW): Increasing the mobility of Master students in Europe (for the EU only)

  • Students for getting scholarships apply directly to higher education institutions for competitions (International Credit Mobility (ICM) based on inter-institutional agreements and / or partnerships (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees), as well as representatives from other countries , there are no restrictions. There are no privileges or restrictions for any country in the world.

• Partnerships may include higher education institutions and other organizations that are ready to take students to practice.

 

КА1: Mobility project for higher education students and staff

Higher educational institutions from partner countries, including Ukraine, can be partners from universities in Europe to organize mobility projects for teachers and administrative staff.

Aims:

• Provide more opportunities to improve teaching and learning quality

Main activities in the field:

• Teaching (teaching assignment): developing innovative teaching methods, mobility is open to partner countries in both directions (NEW)

• Professional development: improving the skills and competences of the teaching staff and administrative staff, is open to partner countries in both directions (NEW)

• Invitation of the company employees: to increase the relevance of the curriculum

 

 

Who can arrange credit mobility? One institution of higher education from a Program Country member and one higher education institution of the Erasmus Partner country + (in addition to all other organizations for passing student practices). National Project Agencies Erasmus + member countries of the Program are coordinating projects.

Who submits the project application? In accordance with the terms of the Erasmus + Program, the applicant for a credit mobility project must be a University of Erasmus + member country. European University must be signed by the Erasmus Charter on Higher Education.

 

Where to apply?Where is the project application submitted? Project applications are submitted by the applicant university from the program country to your National Erasmus + Program Agency.In turn, agencies review and make decisions about winning projects and publish results.

Duration of project.The applicant must choose the duration at application stage, based on the scale of the project and on the type of activities planned over time. Mobility between Programme Countries: 16 or 24 months.

Where to apply? European University Applicant submits a project application to the National Agency of the country in which the applicant organisation is established.

Compulsory conditions for partner universities: responsibility and institutional support; compliance with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (for universities of the Program Member States); openness, transparency, equal access; recognition of the results of mobility.

Who can be a participant of the international credit mobility:

 

·        Students - bachelors Jr. and bachelors (except the 1-st year), masters, PhD students (for study, practice);

·        Employees - teachers and administrative staff                                                                       (for teaching, training, internships).

 

In what areas of knowledge? Learning or teaching on credit mobility is possible in various fields of knowledge.

 

Duration of International Credit Mobility for Students:

·        for students - from 3 months. up to 12 months for studying in one educational cycle (possibly cumulatively)

·        for medical students - from 3 months. up to 24 months to study.

·        for students - from 2 months. up to 12 months for for practice during one educational cycle (possibly accumulatively)

 

The duration of international credit mobility for employees- from 5 days to 2 months. for teaching, advanced training and internship.

 

The Grant, which receives a partnership for the implementation of the project on International Credit Mobility, includes: exchange programs (tuition fees), organizational costs for universities, stays or per diem for participants, transfer, visa, insurance.

 

The competition for a grant for the implementation of projects on international credit mobility is announced annually in October and continues, as a rule, by February of the next calendar year.
