SMALL JOINT PARTNERSHIPS

For organizations from partner countries of the Erasmus + program, including Ukraine, the direction of small joint partnerships is open.

WHAT ARE THE AIMS of small joint partnerships?

Small joint partnerships enable organizations to develop and strengthen networks, enhance their ability to act on a transnational level, share best practices, and respond to ideas and methods in a variety of areas related to sport and physical culture. Such projects can also produce material products, and are expected to distribute the results of their activities, but by a path that is proportional to the purpose and scope of the project.

Small joint partnerships involve various organizations, including government bodies at local, regional and national levels, sport organizations related to sports organizations and educational institutions.

Small joint partnerships, in particular, are oriented towards projects that are DIRECTED ON:

•        encouraging social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport;

•        promotion of European traditional sports and games;

•        support for the mobility of volunteers, trainers, managers and non-profit sports organizations;

•        protection of athletes, especially the youngest ones, from health hazards and security by improving training and competition conditions;

•        promoting education in sport through the development of skills.

Small joint partnerships should promote the creation and development of transnational networks in the field of sport. The EU provides opportunities for strengthening cooperation between stakeholders who would not exist without EU support. Small joint partnerships should also promote synergy with and between local, regional, national and international policies for the development of sport and physical education, and to address sports-related issues. Small joint partnerships should include at least one local or regional sports club.

WHICH ACTIVITIES are supported by this direction?

•        Erasmus + offers greater flexibility in activities that can be realized by small, collaborative partnerships until the proposal demonstrates that these measures are most suitable for achieving the goals set for this project. Small joint partnerships can usually cover a wide range of activities such as, for example:

•        networks among interested parties;

•        advancement, identification and exchange of best practices;

•        preparation, development and implementation of educational and training modules and tools;

•        activities to raise awareness of the added value of sport and physical activity in relation to personal, social and professional development of the individual;

•        measures to promote innovative complementarities in the field of sport and health, education, training and youth;

•        measures to improve the evidence base of sport to address social and economic problems (data collection underlying the above activities, surveys, consultations, etc.);

•        conferences, seminars, meetings, events and advocacy activities that underlie the above-mentioned activities.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Small joint partnerships are open to any type of government or non-profit organizations working in the field of sports and physical education. Depending on the purpose of the project, small joint partnerships should include an appropriate and diverse range of partners in order to benefit from different experiences, profiles and expertise and to achieve relevant and qualitative project outcomes. Small joint partnerships are aimed at cooperation between organizations established in participating countries.

Small Joint partnership should consist of:

•        applicant / Coordinator: An organization that represents the project proposal on behalf of all partners

•        partners (Ukrainian organizations can be partners).
