Priority tasks of scientific activity of the university  

1. Development of scientific directions at the university by:

1) directing the research teams of the university to the qualitative indicators of scientific activity development by implementing the thematic plan of R & D for 2021 and preparing new project applications for participation in national budget funding competitions and international grant competitions;

2) increase in the amount of extra-budgetary funds raised for research, including through economic contract research and the provision of scientific services to legal entities and individuals;

3) active cooperation with business and industry in terms of implementation of scientific activities;

4) attracting investment for the development of scientific and technological base of the university;

5) updating and expanding the material and technical base of scientific research;

6) expansion of international scientific cooperation;

7) involvement of young scientists in participation in research works and in performance of scientific services;

8) involvement of the NPP of the university in the membership in the editorial boards of scientific publications indexed in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science.

2. Increasing the share of publications in scientific professional publications of Ukraine category "B", foreign scientific publications indexed in scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science and in foreign periodicals in EU countries at the department, which should be equal to 1 (or more) per 1 person (research and teaching staff + graduate students + doctoral students).

3. Promotion of scientific professional publications of the university to NBD Scopus and / or WoS.

4. Implementation of the project of the startup school "Sikorsky challenge" at the university.

5. Accreditation of 4 educational and scientific programs of training of doctors of philosophy: 121 Software engineering; 051 Economics; 035 Philology; 091 Biology.

6. Systematic cooperation of the Scientific Society of students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the University with the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, scientific societies of other free economic zones.

7. Introduction of effective mechanisms for motivating scientists to create research teams to intensify applied research and commercialization of intellectual property with the participation of young scientists in the joint development of business projects and startups.

8. Adherence to the norms of scientific ethics and academic integrity when publishing the results of scientific research.

9. Observance of transparency of scientific activity and disclosure of information on its results.
