About the educational programme

The “Law Enforcement Activity” programme is aimed at training professionals for the system of law enforcement bodies, public authorities, security and public order structures.

The main focus is on the practical application of legal norms, human rights protection, combating crime, maintaining public order and security taking into account current challenges for Ukraine.

The programme combines:

  • advanced legal knowledge in the field of law enforcement activity;
  • mastering procedures of pre-trial investigation, evidence collection and documentation of offences;
  • understanding human rights standards and ethical requirements for law enforcement officers;
  • familiarisation with modern approaches to security management at community and state levels.

Master’s level

Master in Law Enforcement Activity

This level is for those who want to combine legal knowledge with competences in public security, investigations, analytics and risk management.

Duration of study: 1 year 4 months (master’s)
Admission: based on a bachelor’s degree (law, law enforcement activity, public administration and other related specialities) in accordance with the Admission Rules.

You will deepen your ability to:
  • apply substantive and procedural law in law enforcement activity;
  • analyse and document offences, collect and assess evidence;
  • work with information and risks in the security sphere;
  • take into account EU standards and international approaches to human rights;
  • communicate with citizens, communities and public authorities.
Practical component:
  • analysis of real cases from law enforcement practice;
  • participation in research and practical events, trainings and simulations;
  • opportunity to choose a master’s thesis topic related to security, recovery and human rights protection.
