Individual Research Topics of the Faculty of the Department of Special Education
The individual research topics of the faculty members of the Department of Special Education are an essential component of the scientific activities of the higher education institution. They form the foundation for developing theoretical and practical aspects of special and inclusive pedagogy.
Faculty members work on individual initiative-based research topics aimed at addressing pressing issues in special and inclusive education. Their research focuses on enriching the theoretical framework, advancing methodological studies, developing and implementing diagnostic tools and correctional-developmental methodologies, as well as creating educational and methodological materials for training professionals in special and inclusive education.
The results obtained through individual research are actively integrated into the educational process for preparing future specialists in special education. This is achieved by updating syllabi for general and professional training courses, supervising student research aligned with faculty research topics, and delivering guest lectures.
Systematic research activities of the faculty contribute to enhancing scientific qualifications (through publication activity) and establishing professional connections with Ukrainian and international researchers.
Individual research topics of the faculty members are not isolated academic projects but constitute an integral part of a comprehensive research system. This system has a multidimensional impact on the development of special and inclusive education, the training of competitive specialists, and social transformations in the perception and support of individuals with special educational needs.
