Natalia Volodymyrivna Kabelnikova

Head of the Department of Special Education, Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Academic Supervisor of the Educational and Professional Program "Speech Therapy" for Master's Degree Students.

Natalia Kabelnikova graduated from Kherson State University in 2002 with a degree in Primary Education and Defectology, obtaining the qualification of a primary school teacher and speech therapist.

In 2007, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation at the Institute of Special Pedagogy of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in the specialty 13.00.03 – Correctional Pedagogy, on the topic:
"Diagnosis and Correction of Speech Development in Early Childhood."

Her professional interests include:

  • The study of etiopathogenesis and symptomatology of speech disorders in children
  • The use of innovative speech therapy technologies in educational and correctional work with children with special educational needs.

Svitlana Dmytrivna Yakovleva

Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, and Academic Supervisor of the Educational and Professional Program "Oligophrenopedagogy" for Master's Degree Students.

Svitlana Yakovleva graduated from Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute in 1981 as a medical doctor.

In 1991, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Cardiology on the topic:
"Neurohumoral and Hemodynamic Mechanisms of Magnetic Field Application in Treating Initial Stages of Hypertension."

In 2015, she defended her Doctoral Dissertation in Special Psychology on the topic:
"Psychophysiological Foundations of Educational Activity for Children with Developmental Disorders."

She was the Head of the Department of Special Education from 2000 to 2021. Currently, she works as a Professor at the Department of Special Education.

Scientific activities:

  • Member of the Subcommittee 225 "Medical Psychology" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
  • Supervisor of the scientific research project "Content and Technologies of Teaching in the Special and Inclusive Education System"
  • Head of the Scientific Research Laboratory "Health Technologies in Special Education" (since 2003)

Vira Vitaliivna Lyashko

Deputy Head of the Department, Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, and Academic Supervisor of the "Oligophrenopedagogy" Bachelor's Degree Program.

Vira Lyashko graduated from Kherson State Pedagogical Institute in 1998 with a Master's degree in Biology.

In 2012, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Special Psychology on the topic:
"Prerequisites for the Formation of an Individual Work Style in Primary School Students of Special Schools."

She works on the pilot project of the research group "Correctional Technologies in Special Schools."

Graduated from Kherson State University in 2003 with a Master's degree in Primary Education and obtained the qualification of a teacher of primary education and speech therapist.

In 2011, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Correctional Pedagogy on the topic:
"Formation of Figurative Speech in Preschool Children with General Speech Underdevelopment."

Her research focuses on:

  • The specifics of speech development in children with systemic speech disorders
  • Sensory development in children with special educational needs
 

Valeriya Valeriivna Melikhova

Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Graduated from Kherson State University in 2005 with a degree in Primary Education and Defectology, obtaining the qualification of a primary school teacher and speech therapist.

In 2011, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Professional Education on the topic:
 "Formation of Teachers' Readiness in Postgraduate Education to Apply Pedagogical Health-Saving Technologies in Primary Schools."

Lidiia Viktorivna Drozd

Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences, Senior Lecturer.

Graduated from Kherson State University in 2013 with a degree in Correctional Education.

In 2021, defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Psychology on the topic:
 "Formation of Life Goal-Setting in Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities."


 

Oleksandra Serhiivna Solovey

Senior Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Lecturer, and Specialist at the Inclusive Resource Center of the Pedagogical Faculty.
