Therefore, great attention is paid to its organization and implementation at the faculty. Kherson State University has signed agreements with general secondary education institutions and preschool establishments in the city of Kherson and the Kherson region, which allows our students to undergo practice in all schools and preschool institutions in the city, gain experience from teachers and educators in the region, and expand their pedagogical worldview.
Pedagogical practice is continuous throughout the entire period of a student's study at the higher education institution. At each course, starting from the first, future educators undergo one or two planned types of practice. The duration of practice increases from course to course as the tasks set for students become more complex, aimed at the gradual and systematic preparation of them for independent professional activity.
The pedagogical practice system includes the following types:
- Teaching Practice: Focused on organizing leisure activities for preschool and younger school-age children.
- Educational Practice: Aimed at forming educational goals and tasks in the learning process.
Pedagogical practice contributes to the in-depth study of the professional activities of teachers based on the acquired professional methodology, psychological and pedagogical disciplines, and the development of skills and competencies in educational and upbringing work in schools and preschool educational institutions.
Each stage of pedagogical practice is preceded by organizational work aimed at familiarizing students with the goals and tasks of practice, forms and methods of work, and assessment criteria. At the beginning of the practice, an introductory conference is held. The pedagogical practice of students is supervised by experienced teachers with significant experience in higher education, general secondary education, and preschool education.
One of the most popular practices among our students is the teaching practice (organizing leisure activities for preschool and younger school-age children) at the "Burevisnyk" Children's Recreation Center. This practice takes place at the end of the second semester/
