Natalia Romanova, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of German and Romance Philology.
Initiator of the research theme German Language Units: Structure. Semantics. Functions. History (state registration number 0116U005790).
Academic degrees:
In 1983, N.Romanova graduated from Odessa State University with a degree in German Language and Literature and obtained the qualification of Philologist, Teacher, Translator.
In 2005, she became a Candidate of Philology in 10.02.04 Germanic Languages, PhD thesis topic- Lexical-Semantic Group of Words with Spatial Meaning in German (Diachronic Study), and received the "Associate Professor" title.
In 2015, she completed her postgraduate studies and obtained a Doctor of Philology degree in 10.02.04 Germanic Languages, doctoral dissertation topic - Semantic Development of Emotional Vocabulary of the 18th – early 19th Centuries
In 2016, N. Romanova was transferred to the position of Professor of the Department of German and Romance Philology.
Scientific interests include the history of the German language, lexical semantics, word formation, contrastive linguistics, etymology of the German language, lexicography, and practice of translation of folklore and works of art.

Iryna Goshtanar, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign and Ukrainian Philology and Journalism, and Member of the International Scientific and Pedagogical Society. JF Herbart (Germany).
Academic degrees:
In 1996, I.Hoshtanar graduated from Kherson State Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya, Faculty of Foreign Languages, German-English Department.
From 1996 to 1998, she worked as a German language teacher at Kherson Academic Lyceum named after O.V. Mishukova, KCC at KSU.
Since 1998 she has been a lecturer at the Department of German Language at the Faculty of Foreign Philology of KSU.
In 2000 she graduated from Kherson State Pedagogical University and received her Master's Degree in German and Foreign Literature.
In 2011 she completed her postgraduate studies at Kherson State University in 13.00.01 - General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy, defended her Ph.D. thesis Herbart in the Context of the Development of the World Educational Space.
In 2014 she was awarded the title of Associate Professor of the German Language Department.
The range of scientific interests includes current trends in foreign language teaching methods, phraseology of the German language in contemporary coverage, and linguoconceptology from an artistic perspective.
Larysa Kovbasyuk, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of German and Romance Philology.
Academic degrees:
In 1997 she graduated from Kherson State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Foreign Languages, German-English Department.
Since 1997 she has been a lecturer at the Department of German Language at the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Kherson State University.
From 1998 to 2001 she was a postgraduate student in 10.02.04 German languages (German). In 2004 L. Kovbasyuk defended her Ph.D. thesis at Kyiv National Linguistic University on the topic Semantic and Functional Aspects of Secondary Nomination of Units with the Component "Color Name" In Modern German.
In 2006 she was awarded the title of "Associate Professor".
Lаrysa Kovbasyuk is the author of 70 scientific articles and 12 textbooks, including a textbook on German grammar Deutsche Übungsgrammatik: Lehrwerk. Kherson: KSU, 2013. 202 p. (the Ministry of Education and Science, Letter №1 / 11-11124 dated 09.07.13), textbook on the general theory of the second foreign language Grundzüge des Gegenwartsdeutschen: Theorie und Praxis. Kherson: Timex, 2017. 196 p.
Associate Professor Larysa Kovbasyuk has been a DAAD Scholar since 2000, and takes an active part in International seminars and academies, in particular:

Academic degrees:
In 1983 she graduated from the Faculty of Romanic-Germanic Philology at Kalinin State University, majoring in French language and literature, qualification: philologist, French teacher, translator.
Since 2001 she has been working at Kherson State University as a Lecturer in the Department of Romanic-Germanic Languages at the Faculty of Foreign Philology.
In 2007 she defended her dissertation for the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Degree at KD Ushynskyi South Ukrainian State Pedagogical University on the topic Preparation of Foreign Language Teachers at the Universities of France, speciality 13.00.04 - Theory and Methodology of Vocational Education.
Since 2008 she has been working as an Associate Professor of the Romano-Germanic Languages Department and then the Department of German and Romance Philology.
Scientific interests include foreign language teaching methods, theory and practice of translation, French-language literature, lexicology, stylistics and phraseology of the French language.

Olena Goncharenko, Associate Professor of the Department of German and Romance Philology.
Academic degrees:
In 1977 she graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in Romance-Germanic Languages and Literature.
Since 2001 - Associate Professor of the Department of Romanic-Germanic Languages.
She has completed internships at Madrid State University, Kherson National Technical University and Kherson State Agrarian University.
From 2004 to 2011 she was a teacher of CDP at KSU. Since 2004, she has been the head of scientific works of the Academy of Sciences and a member of the jury of the II-III stages of the Academy of Sciences and the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Spanish.
Scientific interests include the history of development and formation of the Spanish language, its functional-stylistic differentiation, theory and practice of translation and the newest tendencies of foreign language teaching methods in higher and secondary educational establishments.

Liudmyla Tkachenko, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of German and Romance Philology (українською не та кафедра вказана), Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Journalism, Kherson State University.
Academic degrees:
She graduated from Odesa State University and did postgraduate studies at the Department of Experimental Phonetics of the Odessa State University. In 1994, she defended her dissertation on the topic The Nature and Functions of Sound Dependence in Binary Complex Words: an Experimental Phonetic Study. She received the title of Candidate of Philological Sciences in 10.02.04. Germanic languages. In 2003, she received the academic title of Associate Professor. Associate Professor L. Tkachenko has more than 80 publications, including textbooks on lexicology and stylistics of the Spanish language with the MES label, textbooks on the literature of England and the United States, and oral and written communication practices. Associate Professor L.LTkachenko completed an internship abroad, namely in 2000 at the Complutense University of Madrid, and in 2003 at the University of Salamanca (Spain).
Scientific interests include actual problems of stylistics and lexicology of the English language.
