October 21, 2014 Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science, Health and Tourism, associate professor Lavrikova O.V. in the meeting room of the Kherson Regional State Administration has participated in the "round table" on the topic: "Creating the conditions for a stable development of the coastal regions of Ukraine through the optimal use of resort and tourism potential and attract investment." The meeting was attended by about 70 persons: a guide regional state administration, civil servants, representatives of public organizations, tourism businesses, academic institutions, members of the Regional Coordinating Council on Tourism Development. Organizers were the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Regional State Administration for Industry Association support Ukraine escorts.
Lavrykova O.V. presented the project «Cruise Tourism» - development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region in the Georgia-Ukraine cooperation. The results of the project is scheduled working meeting of the participants of the project «Cruise Tourism» Kherson State University on September 2015 with the participation and support of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Regional State Administration.
In order to ensure a comprehensive and systematic approach to the preparation of the draft Concept of development of tourism and resort potential of the Kherson region in the direction of the resort and the tourist potential of the area of the roundtable participants was resolved to establish a working group.
