From September 26th till September 28th, 2014 the carrying of Tavrian Investment Tourism Forum was held in the town of Nova Kakhovka.
The purpose of the Forum carrying is the activation of domestic and international tourism development in Tavrian Region, investments attraction to the sweet spots of tourism-resort industry, region tourism possibilities presentation, repair of business and partner relations between participants of the tourism market.
This event gathered representatives from different regions of Ukraine. In the given event representatives of Kherson State University took an active part, exactly the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science, Human Health and Tourism, Candidate of Biological Sciences, the Associate Professor Oksana Lavrykova, Head of the Department of Tourism, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Viktor Yurchenko; Associate Professor Ihor Kotovskyi and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tourism, Candidate of Geography Sciences, Ianina Vasylevska.
The event organizers were Tourism and Resorts Office of Regional State Administration, Novokakhovska City Council and Public Organization “Tavrian Territorial Communities Association".
Forum first day contained plenty of activities: holding of the Young Tour Guide School, the workshop as for the new generation excursions; Forum plenary part. The participants joined the breakout on investments attraction in the main directions of the tourism development in Tavrian Region. In particular, the questions as to the active ecological tourism were discussed; tourist destinations: competitive ability criteria; eventful and cultural-informative tourism; winy; primary wellness tourism and advertisements and web promotion of the tourist product. At the end of the meeting, balance of the work was summarized and conclusions of the moderators were presented for the direction of the working groups discussion .
Also, the visiting session of the Regional Coordination Council was occurred with the questions of the development of the recreational resort and tourism, the purpose of carrying out of which was the acquaintance with the prospects of domestic and international tourism development in Tavrian Region, sweet spots of tourism-resort industry, region tourism possibilities presentation. The participation in the Forum plenary part and in the breakout was identified by the program proceedings on investments attraction in the main directions of the tourism development in Tavrian Region.
The second day attracted all the present to the active and interesting activities in the framework of the «Tavria Fest». Everyone willing had an opportunity to choose a particular trip on his taste. Water campaign on tourist canoe across the water maze and lakes of the island Kozachyi, the water route-journey by yacht across the Lower Dnieper, the bicycle –route walk «Crystal ring of Tavrian sources» and the pedestrian –bus route- journey «Tavrian clusters capital» were among the festival programs.
Participation in the festival opening «Life water» and also fest- ground «Novokakhovskyi yard» presented everyone many nice and positive emotions. Also, everyone willing had an opportunity to take part in the informative- familiarization tour across the objects of the Tavrian tourism cluster «We pray for Ukraine». Also, the participants of the event visited the Private Farming Enterprise of wine production «Kurin» in the village of Stepanivka (Kherson) and got acquainted with the enterprise presentation and the product taste-off.
The program of the Forum third final day included optional excursion «Spring path melody», excursion to the town of Kakhovka with the visiting of Kakhovka museum and memorial «Legendary Tachanka», visiting historical-entertainment complex «Tavria Green Farms» and green tourism base "Chumak well" of Tsiurupinsk District, where the event participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the tourist object, to taste wine enterprise production of Tavrian Region.
After such a great and highly topical program, all Forum participants left this event in a good mood.
