4.02-9.02.2014. Participation in the Coordination meeting of the project TEMPUS — CruiseT in Odessa (Ukraine)

 

 

                                 

      

In February 4-9, 2014 the Coordination meeting of the project TEMPUS-IV “Network of competence centers for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region-CruiseT” was held in Odessa. This meeting was attended by the working group of Kherson State University as part of the first Vice-rector, professor O.V.Spivakovskyi, the dean of Faculty of Natural Science, Human Health and Tourism, assistant professor O.V.Lavrykova, the Head of the Chair of Tourism, assistant professor I.M.Kotovskyi, the Head of Department of Support for Academic, Informational and Communicational Infrastructure M.B.Maksymovych, the employee of International Relations Office O.V.Lonskyi.

       

The realization of this project was started in December, 2013 and it is designed to develop the cruise infrastructure in the Black Sea region countries, to improve the organization and staff assistance of tourist field. The creation of Competence Centers will allow join forces of scientists, local government, travel companies and sea ports for the project objectives solution.

      

During the coordination meeting the objectives, targets and graft document packages of the TEMPUS-IV - CruiseT project have been defined and the objectives and possibilities of the competence centers in Odessa, Sevastopol, Batumi have been discussed.  The coordination meeting gave the opportunity to define the objectives and targets of work on the realization of this project at KhersonStateUniversity.
