On February 25, 2015 associate professor of the Chair of Tourism of Kherson State University V.V. Sharko participated in the round-table meeting on the topic «Digital technologies in the activity of public offices and local governments " which was held in the great debating chamber of Kherson City Council.
The event was held in the framework of "Digital transformation of theKhersonregion" with the assistance and help of the company «GoogleUkraine", Kherson Regional Charity Fund "Association" in cooperation with the International Business, Tourism and Resorts Department of Kherson Regional State Administration and Kherson City Council.
In the course of the seminar’s practical part, with the participation of representatives of government, educational institutions and government agencies, the Google experts fromSwitzerlandandIrelandintroduced to participants the modern Internet technologies and Google possibilities.
KhersonStateUniversityscientists participating in the international project "Tempus CruiseT" (development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region) believe that the knowledge gained during the seminar, allow them to present the obtained results of project scientific research more appropriate and qualitatively for the purpose of promotion the investment and tourist attraction of theKhersonregion.
