On April, 22 the Business Conference «Strategic tools of hospitality industry development of Kherson region» was held on the basis of the fishing and recreation complex «Dnipro Delta» (Dniprovske, Bilozerskyi district). The representatives of Kherson State University joined to this event: the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Communication Technologies of KSU Oksana Lavrykova, the Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science, Human Health and Tourism Vasylieva Nataliia, the Associate Professor Vitalii Sharko , the Senior Lecturer of the Chair of Tourism Ianina Vasylevska and the students of the Speciality «Tourism».
In the working meeting the representatives of Skadovsk and Gola Prystan Regional State Administrations, the Department of External Economic Activity, Tourism and Resorts of Kherson Regional State Administration (KRSA), tour operators, travel agents, heads of rehabilitation and recreation institutions, scientists, experts and members of the Regional Coordination Council of tourism and resorts development, representatives of public associations and other organizations, dealing with the development of tourist and recreational complex of Kherson region also took part.
Conference was organized by the Department of External Economic Activity, Tourism and Resorts of Kherson Regional State Administration (KRSA) headed by the Director Tetiana Volynets. The main purpose of the conference - organization of the managing business platform for the discussion the most important issues and prospects for the development of the tourism industry of Kherson region, as well as the consideration of effective examples of tourism activities in the region.
