On October 11, 2024, the Kherson State University Chess Championship was held among university degree holders. The competition was organized by the head of the Department of Medical and Biological Basics of Physical Education and Sports, Serhiy Goliaka. This competition interested the youth of the university, who took an active part.

The other day, another meeting of the department was held, where urgent issues of the educational process were discussed, in particular, the involvement of young people in sports competitions.
