Recently, on March 19, 2021, the head of the KSU Legal Clinic, senior lecturer of the Department of Branch Law of Kherson State University YuriyAlyabov, senior lecturer of the Department of Public and International Law and Law Enforcement OlenaHalahan and other scientific and pedagogical staff of the departments together with the students, who have their practice at the Legal Clinic of KSU, as well as other applicants, during the Spring Forum of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine in 2021, in a video conference format visited the presentation of the textbook "Legal Clinical Education in Ukraine", organized by the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine together with the OSCE Project
USAID New Justice Program. The textbook covers current issues regarding the history of the origin and formation of clinical education - an effective form of practical training of higher education students studying law in Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions for future professional activity.
KSU Law Clinic is a structural subdivision of the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University and was created as a base for practical training and training of higher education students majoring in "Law", "Law Enforcement", "International Law", integrated into the educational process and work on the basis of the current legislation of Ukraine, the Charter of KSU and the Provisions on the Legal Clinic of KSU.
The basis of the legal clinic is a combination of interests of citizens in need of legal assistance and unable to pay for the services of a lawyer and students interested in gaining practical knowledge that will contribute to their future employment.
