On June 9, a lecture-discussion "Legal issues and problems of realization of information rights of citizens in the conditions of modern transformations of Ukraine"

On June 9, a lecture-discussion "Legal issues and problems of realization of information rights of citizens in the conditions of modern transformations of Ukraine" was held for students and teachers of the Faculty of Business and Law and the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Journalism of Kherson State University.

Speakers were Viktor Barvitsky, a representative of the Commissioner for the Observance of the Right to Information and Representation in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Oleksandr Ostapenko, a representative of the Commissioner for the Southern Regions, with the participation of Olena Kornitska public of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Oksana Tropina.

It is very important that the representatives of the Ombudsman's Office chose Kherson State University as a platform for communication with young people. "We are always happy to receive interesting guests at the university, because communication with successful experienced people enriches students, expands their horizons and opportunities to choose the future trajectory of development," said KSU Rector Alexander Spivakovsky and encouraged young people to discuss.

During the conversation with students, the Commissioners outlined the directions of their activities, told about human rights violations, which are most often recorded in the Kherson region. And also - in what areas students can do an internship in the structures of the Office and what is needed for this. Separately focused on the observance of the right to information, protection of personal data.
