The student group of STEM-education "Cytoecologist" reports on its scientific work this academic year.

Friday, July 02, 2021
In mid-May, despite the difficult living conditions in 2020/2021 AD , members of the group successfully reported on their scientific work. Such reports are a tradition of the group's life. The only exception was the last school year. This academic year, the group works in the same way, despite the mixed lifestyle of the faculty. All members of the group spoke about their achievements in the report. T. Krasnova (112 mag) reported two publications in the collections of the All-Ukrainian student and "adult" scientific and practical conferences on the results of the development of the curriculum "Aqua" and guidelines for it for out-of-school educational institutions. On their basis, she conducted two master classes at the Academic Lyceum to determine the safety of bottled water by means of a "floating model of plants". The students were very pleased. Three of our graduates (bachelors) (Bozhonok V. 411gr., Barsuk L. and Bekirova S. 412 gr.) Conducted a defense of their dissertations, which are devoted to various aspects of the impact of abiotic environmental factors on model plant systems and applied aspects of the results of such studies . Students 412 gr. in September 2020 they published their works in the collection of the All-Ukrainian Student Conference, and in 2021. based on the results of their work, they conducted a quest "Abiotic environmental factors" with lyceum students. Our junior scientists worked especially fruitfully. N. Mazur 311g. not only was able to conduct 6 monitoring of the safety of the Dnieper water within the city of Kherson, using a range of methods of phytotesting and cytoecology. She diligently mastered new biochemical techniques. Mazur N. published 2 works this year in the collections of All-Ukrainian conferences, in which she took part online. Well, our youngest Batrak O. not only discovered a new direction in the scientific work of the group, but also significantly developed it. We are talking about studying the effectiveness of drinking water treatment in different ways and methods using model plant systems. Alexandra conducted 3 large-scale studies of 6 of these methods and devices using three phytotests. She practically laid a powerful foundation for her graduate work in the bachelor's degree. Its result is 2 publications published this school year.
Traditionally, the group's report ended with a "sweet" table, at which we held our graduates and wished them a successful return to us, already in the status of masters, and the younger members of the group further success in scientific research.

Good luck to you girls! Do not lose inspiration for a new scientific search !
