On November 16, a student round table "Academic Mobility in Action" was held at the Pedagogical Faculty, which was organized by Anastasiya Volianiuk, assistant dean for international activities. The participants of the event were welcomed by the dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Lyubov Petukhova, who emphasized the importance of international activities for the faculty, many years of development in this aspect and the opportunities currently open to our students.
The speakers of the event were the graduates of the Faculty of Pedagogy - those students who already have experience in international cooperation, internships, and learning a foreign language.
In particular, graduates of the Faculty of Pedagogy Oleksandr Tatsoch and Anastasia Gorb, who are attending English language courses from the Foreign Language Education Office of KhSU, shared their experience. Veronika Bevzenko and Karina Tkachenko, participants of the Summer School for Future Teachers in Poznań and trainees at the Pomeranian University in Slupsk, spoke about their impressions of academic mobility. Recommendations for studying abroad were provided by master's student Anastasia Lyzko, who also completed an internship at the Pomeranian University in Slupsk, and next semester will be an internship at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria. Postgraduate student Anna Lintvariova joined the round table, who has the experience of obtaining higher education in Poland, namely, completed her master's degree at Pomeranian University. The girls shared their impressions, gave recommendations and advice on studying, told how they were able to improve the level of foreign languages. Also, the participants of academic mobility gave feedback about the support of the faculty and the university, recommended other applicants to participate in similar programs and events.
Indeed, Kherson State University provides unique opportunities to study abroad, cooperates with foreign partners, and this allows students and teachers to gain experience for the integration of European values into the educational space of Ukraine.
