International Mother Language Day

Every year on February 21, starting from 2000, the world celebrates International Mother Language Day, which was declared at the XXX session of the UNESCO General Conference in 1999 in Paris. In Ukraine, the holiday began to write its history in 2002. This day reminds us of the inalienable right of every person to speak their own language.
