KSU Researchers Present Analytical Customer Interaction System at ICTERI
During the session “Applications of Artificial Intelligence and ICT” on the second day of the 20th Anniversary International Conference ICTERI-2025, researchers from Kherson State University (KSU) presented their study.
Professor Vitalii Kobets from the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at KSU presented the research “A Hybrid Approach to RFM-D Analysis: Integrating Reinforcement Learning, Clustering, and Classification for Dynamic Customer Segmentation.” The study was co-authored with Professor Yevheniia Spivakovska from the Department of English Philology and the Foreign Literature named after Professor Oleh Mishukov, and Dmytro Volyk, a student of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics at KSU.
This interdisciplinary research bridges marketing and business management, education, and AI. It integrates classical RFM-D analysis with reinforcement learning, clustering, and classification algorithms to provide more accurate customer segmentation and to support the development of personalized business strategies.
As KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy noted, this is not just analytics but a “smart system” that learns, predicts, and adjusts customer interactions, with potential applications across various fields, including education.
“Modern science knows no borders. Ukrainian researchers are fully integrated into the global scientific community, and their research is of interest across many domains of our lives. This is the true value of ICTERI as a platform where ideas can be shared,” summarized Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
