As part of the Erasmus Days 2025 celebrations, the Faculty of Biology, Geography, and Ecology at Kherson State University held an informational meeting for students and faculty dedicated to academic mobility and participation in the Erasmus+ program.

These days symbolize the unity of the European educational community, as universities across Europe share success stories, showcase implemented projects, student exchanges, and partnerships. Kherson State University has traditionally participated in this initiative, demonstrating its commitment to international cooperation and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

During the event, participants learned about:

• Principles of the Erasmus+ program and the opportunities it provides for KSU students and faculty;
• Studying at partner universities, including Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland), Alpen-Adria University in Klagenfurt (Austria), and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland);
• The benefits of semester exchanges and dual degree programs;
• A step-by-step guide for submitting applications for academic mobility.

The meeting took place in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere: students shared their dreams of studying abroad, asked questions, and received answers from representatives of KSU’s International Relations Department. Special attention was given to preparing documents, motivation letters, and application deadlines for participation in exchange programs.

“We want every student at Kherson State University to experience the European educational space firsthand. Erasmus+ is not just about studying, it’s about new connections, culture and personal development. It cultivates a confident generation of young professionals ready to act globally,” said Yevheniia Revenko, Head of the International Relations Office at KSU.

International Cooperation – a Strategic Priority at KSU

The Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology already has a successful track record in international projects and mobility programs. Such events help strengthen inter-university partnerships, improve education quality, and engage young researchers in the international academic community.

The program opens not only academic but also cultural horizons, develops intercultural competence, and helps young people confidently pursue careers at the European level.
