Second Annual Europe Day Essay Contest
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine invites young people to take part in the second Europe Day essay competition on the topic: ‘My vision of a European Ukraine’.
❓What does the EU mean to you? What could be the future of Ukraine as a full member of the EU? And what role do you play in shaping this future? This competition is an opportunity to reflect on the European future of Ukraine and share your ideas during the Europe Day 2025 celebrations.
🔹Who is it for?
For Ukrainian students aged 16 to 22 who are studying at school, college or university.
Essay requirements:
- Language: Ukrainian
- Length: 800-1000 words
- Style: thoughtful, original and honest - written entirely by you
- AI-generated content or plagiarism will result in disqualification

The Foundation of Polish Science (FNP) announces the fifth competition in the programme ‘FOR UKRAINE’
📌Conditions: a pair of scientists - one from Poland, the other from Ukraine. Candidates must have a PhD/ PhD degree obtained no more than 12 years ago at the time of application. The person representing the Ukrainian side must not only be employed in a Ukrainian research institution at the time of application, but also reside and implement the project in Ukraine.
➡️Мета: joint research in the humanities and social sciences with Polish colleagues.
💰Funding: an annual grant of PLN 268,800 for the implementation of a Polish-Ukrainian research project, the topic of which will cover issues related to the development of civil society, democracy, European integration or security.
❗️Подача applications: the application on behalf of both scholars is submitted by a person working in Poland,

Ukrainian scientists are invited to participate in the Global MIT At-Risk Fellows Programme
The Global MIT At-Risk Fellows (GMAF) programme is designed to enhance the educational and research experience of university faculty and researchers by exposing them to MIT campus practices and strategies in their areas of expertise.

When: February - May 2026
📌Eligibility requirements:
- work at a Ukrainian university;
- be interested and ready to contribute to solving Ukraine's current problems;
- Have a PhD (or equivalent) in a field that is also represented at MIT.
The University will cover the costs associated with the GMAF-Ukraine scholarship, including travel, visas, accommodation, study materials, and a general living stipend.

The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine announces the recruitment of schoolchildren, students and postgraduates to participate in the EU Study Days-2025 Online School.

When will the training take place? From 26 May to 12 July 2025.

Scholarships for Ukrainian scholars in the humanities or social sciences
This is an opportunity to work on your research in one of the EU research institutes: New Europe College in Bucharest (Romania) or the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia (Bulgaria). You will receive a monthly stipend of €850, a comfortable workspace, and access to all the resources of the institution.
You will spend up to ten months abroad - from October 2025 to March 2026.
The scholarship is organised by the New Europe College in Bucharest in cooperation with the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
