    🌍✨ Victory Without Borders! 🎶

    Throughout November 2025, the International Arts Marathon “TalentsUA WITHOUT BORDERS”* took place — a large-scale online project aimed at promoting Ukrainian culture worldwide and uniting talented Ukrainians regardless of their place of residence.

    🏆 Nadiia Khodkova, a student of the Music Art program at Kherson State University, demonstrated outstanding performance skills and won 1st place!

    We sincerely congratulate Nadiia on this great achievement and express our gratitude to her mentor — Professor of the Department of Culture and Arts of KSU, Viktor Hurba — for his professional guidance and inspiration!

    🎶 Music Unites Hearts — Even in Times of Trial 🇺🇦

    As part of the professional practice of master’s students of the “Musical Art” educational program, a special cultural and artistic event took place — the performance and creative project
    ✨ “Music Unites Hearts: Intercultural Dialogue in Wartime” ✨

    The project was prepared by students of the Department of Culture and Arts under the guidance of Associate Professor Tetiana Kornisheva at the practice base of the Municipal Institution “Music School No. 1” of the Kherson City Council, in creative cooperation with the school’s pupils.

    🎼 During the event, the pupils of the music school and the students of the Department of Culture and Arts demonstrated their acquired performing skills, professional mastery, and stage culture, creating an atmosphere of sincere creativity and inspiration for the audience.

    This project became a vivid example of how art supports, inspires, and unites people, creating a space for dialogue and hope even in the most challenging times. 💙💛

    Thank you to all participants for your creativity, dedication, and the powerful unifying force of music!

    🎶 Contemporary Vocal and Instrumental Practices in Focus!

    📌 At the seminar “CONTEMPORARY VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL PRACTICES” (in the format of a forum-training), professionals shared their expertise, experience, practical advice, and recommendations:

    🎤 Oleksii Ponomariov – Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Culture and Arts of Kherson State University, Music Director of the Mykola Kulish Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater.

    🎧 Serhii Hutsalo – Sound Engineer at the Mykola Kulish Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater, student of the “Cultural Studies” program at Kherson State University.

    The event was organized by the Department of Culture of Kherson City Council and became a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and exploring modern trends in vocal and instrumental art.

    As part of the on-campus learning week, students of the 025 Music Art program (first/bachelor level of higher education) showcased their conducting mastery under the guidance of Associate Professors T.L. Kornysheva and N.O. Hunko.

    Each performer-interpreter demonstrated a distinct artistic approach to the interpretation of the composer’s text. The conducting language was expressed through fluid gestures and musical elements reflecting metrical-rhythmic and dynamic characteristics.

    Special attention was given to the challenges of future professional activity, which require the development of specific creative and conducting competencies essential for a conductor’s career.

    The Sound of Modernity: How My Music Is Born

    On June 2, a lecture-meeting was held on the topic: "The Sound of Modernity: How My Music Is Born" by Oleksii Ponomariov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Musical Art. Oleksii shared the secrets of creating an album using children’s musical instruments and revealed the unique process behind modern songwriting — from inspiration to DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). He also presented a new song that is currently in its final stage of production.

    On March 22, 2025, the Department of Musical Art of Kherson State University held a career guidance meeting with the students of Kherson Music School No. 1.
    The department's lecturers introduced the young musicians to the opportunities of studying Musical Art, shared the achievements of KSU students, and invited talented youth to join the university's creative community.

    On September 29, 2021, Diana Rusanova, a student of the Faculty of Culture and Arts in the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, had the opportunity to perform at the opening of the new German festival Musikfestspiele Königswinkel (Fussen, Germany). The symphony orchestra worked on the festival program with world stars. On September 29 and October 2, the band took part in the production of Richard Wagner's musical drama "Tristan and Isolde" directed by Herbert Adler under the direction of famous conductor Lothar Zagrozek with singers Robert Dean Smith (Tristan), Katherine Foster (Isolde, Isolde). King Mark), who are regular participants in Wagner's performances on such famous stages as the Bayreuth Festival, the Bavarian State Opera, the Dresden Semper Opera. On October 1, they presented a symphony program with F. Liszt's symphonic poem "Mazepa", S. Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto (soloist Kateryna Titova) and A. Bruckner's Fourth Symphony under the direction of world-famous Ukrainian conductor Oksana Liniv. The concerts were held at the famous Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein musical theater in Füssen.

Організатори відмітили, що пісні "Минають дні, минають ночі" та "Я молюся за всіх" у виконанні Олексія Мийловича подарували яскраві та незабутні враження. Величезна подяка і вдячність за талант, високий професіоналізм і вміння створити чудову атмосферу.
