On Saturday, the Faculty of Business and Law held the final master class of a series of career guidance trainings for high school students. The participants immersed themselves in the world of economics and management: they analyzed the prices for the Easter basket in 2025 and mastered time management techniques necessary for effective study and career.

This week, the Department of Economics, Management and Administration held a number of working group meetings aimed at updating the educational programs in Economics and Management of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of education.

The Department of Economics, Management and Administration held a meeting to discuss drafts of updated bachelor's and master's degree programs. The event was attended by guarantors of educational programs and students of various courses, who shared their ideas and suggestions for improving the curriculum.

Teachers of the Department of Economics, Management and Administration met with students of grades 9-11 to talk about the opportunities to study at the Faculty of Business and Law, the features of educational programs and the advantages of the distance format.

The Faculty of Business and Law has completed the long-term certificate program “Practical Marketing” developed by the faculty of the Department of Economics, Management and Administration.

The first-year master's students majoring in 051 Economics and 073 Management completed their pre-diploma practice, which is an important stage of preparation for writing a qualification paper.

On December 19, 2024, the Department of Economics, Management and Administration hosted the defense of master's theses of the specialties 073 “Management”, 051 “Economics” and 071 “Accounting and Taxation”.

On December 06, 2024, the Department of Economics, Management and Administration hosted the pre-assessment of qualification works of second-year master's degree applicants majoring in 051 “Economics” and 073 “Management”.

The Department of Economics, Management and Administration hosted the defense of the pre-diploma practice of master's students of educational programs 051 Economics and 073 Management.

Within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Priorities for the Development of Economics, Management, Service and Law in the Context of Integration Processes”, the Department of Economics, Management and Administration held a meeting of the section “Topical Issues of Theory and Practice of Economics and Management”. Participants presented reports in Ukrainian and English, and tested qualification and term papers.

On October 29, students of the Management program attended a guest lecture by Yuriy Palichev, Executive Secretary of the Kherson Watermelon Producers Association. The lecture was devoted to the legislation in the field of geographical indications, as well as the peculiarities of registering the Kherson Watermelon brand.

Students of the Faculty of Business and Law took part in the Ukrainian Student Summit, an event that brought together students from all over the country to share their experiences and communicate with experts from leading companies in the fields of economics, IT, marketing and other industries.

On October 23, 2024, Valeriia Isaieva, a 4th year student of the Economics study program, took part in a training lecture “Small and Medium Business: European Practice”. Participation in the event was part of her informational education and preparation for writing a qualification paper on small business development.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Management and Administration Anna Chmut took part in the training for university employees “Crisis Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy” conducted by communications expert Alisa Hnydiuk.

Defense of qualification works is a key stage of completing studies in higher educational institutions. This event summarizes the students' long-term educational activities and allows them to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and achievements.

On March 29, 2024, the VIII Annual Student Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University

Students majoring in 073 Management attended an online event on employment and career development issues.

At this virtual event, future entrants had the opportunity to obtain information about the modern possibilities of distance education and distance learning at the Faculty of Business and Law.

The All-Ukrainian competition for the defense of scientific research works of student-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held.

As part of the defense of qualification papers, the winners demonstrated a high level of knowledge and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations. Their research was distinguished by scientific originality and a high level of professional competence.

Our students of the 3rd and 4th years of the "Management" specialty successfully completed the courses organized by the Data Art company.

This year, students of specialties 073 "Management" and 051 "Economics" successfully acquired knowledge not only within the framework of formal education, but also took advantage of the opportunities provided by mass open online courses.

Lecturers of the Department of Economics, Management and Administration of Kherson State University U.V. Ushkarenko, N.O. Advokatova, A.V. Chmut. successfully completed training at the Scientific and Methodological Center of Higher and Vocational Pre-Higher Education under the program of professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers on the development and examination of tasks of the EFFV, the course "Fundamentals of testology and development of test tasks" and the program of professional development of the project "School of mentors of a dual form of education ". and took part in the development and examination of EFVV tests in economics, as well as in management and administration.
