On the eve of the 38th anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy, the students of the Faculty of Medicine of Kherson State University held an important thematic event for students. The meeting was dedicated to an extremely relevant topic: "Pharmaceutical recommendations on radiation safety in the event of a recurrence of the radiation threat".
The speaker of the event was Olga Malchevska, a talented student of specialty 226 Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy. Olga shared important knowledge and practical advice on actions in the event of a radiation hazard, focusing on the role of pharmacists in ensuring the protection of the population.
This meeting became not only a reminder of the tragic events of the past, but also an important platform for discussing readiness for possible challenges of the present. The younger generation received valuable knowledge that will help them preserve their health and lives in difficult situations.

On April 11, an extremely important thematic event for students was held, dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day. This informative meeting was organized by our talented graduates of the Medical Faculty of Kherson State University!
The speakers of the event were students of specialty 227 "Therapy and Rehabilitation" - the charming Anna Stadnik and the erudite Pavlo Zelensky. They shared valuable knowledge and insights on the topic "International Experience in Supporting and Integration of People with Autism".
The participants had the opportunity to learn about various approaches and successful practices that are used in different countries of the world to support and socialize people with autism. This was a great opportunity to broaden their worldview and raise awareness in this important area.
Thank you to Ms. Anna and Mr. Pavlo for their initiative and deep interest in the topic! We are proud of our students, who not only gain knowledge, but also share it with others!

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, a student of specialty 222 "Medicine", Koromyslova Ksenia, held an interesting and informative meeting with students of the Holoprystan Lyceum #3, dedicated to the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Ksenia shared her knowledge about disease prevention, proper nutrition and the importance of physical activity. This meeting was a great opportunity for students to learn more about maintaining their health from a future medical specialist.

On April 6, 2025, the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Biology Olympiad, which was held in Lviv, ended. After several days of intensive theoretical and practical tests, it was time to sum up and announce the results.
The solemn closing of the Olympiad was the culmination of the event, at which the winners were announced and the best participants were awarded. All contestants demonstrated a high level of preparation, deep knowledge and a passionate desire for science.
We sincerely congratulate the winners and all participants for their efforts, dedication and desire for knowledge! We thank the organizers, jury members and teachers for their support and impeccable organization of this important event.
May this experience become an incentive for each participant to new scientific achievements!

which takes place from April 2 to 6 in Lviv, was held in the assembly hall of the Lviv Professional College of Hotel, Tourism and Restaurant Service.
The first day for the participants was eventful and organized in accordance with the program of the event.
From the very morning, the participants arrived, registered and settled in the hostel of the Lviv Professional College of Hotel, Tourism and Restaurant Service.
After registration, everyone had the opportunity to have breakfast in the college's educational restaurant.
The next pleasant moment was getting acquainted with the educational institution - the guests had the opportunity to see the material and technical base, the features of training and the specifics of training future specialists in the hospitality sector.
After the sightseeing tour, the participants had free time to relax and prepare for the responsible tests - the theoretical and practical round of the Olympiad.
During the day, the participants were waited for by lunch and coffee breaks in the walls of the college's educational restaurant, which created a pleasant atmosphere for communication and acquaintances.
Ahead are new challenges, interesting tasks and unforgettable impressions!

On April 3, students of the Faculty of Medicine of Kherson State University - Yashna Polina and Butmanova Iryna had a great opportunity to visit the Information Day of the EU Erasmus+ Program in Ivano-Frankivsk!

The event brought together representatives of educational institutions, youth centers, government agencies and public organizations to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between Ukraine and Portugal in the field of youth and sports.

🔹 Erasmus+ opens the door to mobility, writing projects, finding partners in Ukraine and abroad, and financing new promising ideas.

Recently, students of secondary education institutions in the city of Kherson and the region had a wonderful opportunity to talk with Gorbunova Olena, a student of specialty 102 Chemistry of the Medical Faculty of Kherson State University, who is also a leading specialist at the Regional State Laboratory for Water Quality in Mykolaiv.

This year, the race took place in the picturesque Natalka Park and on Obolonsky Island, giving the participants unforgettable impressions and vivid emotions. Andriy worthily overcame the distance, demonstrating his strength and indomitable spirit!
It is especially important that 50% of the profit from this event will be directed to the purchase of electronic warfare equipment for the Third Separate Assault Brigade. Every step of the participants is a contribution to supporting our defenders! 🇺🇦

Тема зустрічі була актуальною та потрібною: «Важливість контрацепції та її різновиди».

Старшокласники мали чудову можливість дізнатися більше про відповідальне ставлення до свого здоров'я, важливість планування сім'ї та існуючі методи контрацепції від майбутніх медичних фахівців. Захід пройшов у дружній та відкритій атмосфері, що сприяло активному обговоренню та отриманню відповідей на всі запитання.
