Kherson State University

A meeting of first-year postgraduate students regarding voting for elective educational components of the general training cycle was held on April 18. Applicants were informed about the voting deadlines and were also instructed on the voting procedure for elective components on the KSU24 information platform.

On April 9, a final conference on postgraduate practice for 2nd year students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education was held. The event was opened by the first vice-rector of KhSU, Professor Serhiy Omelchuk, who congratulated the postgraduate students on the successful completion of their practice and wished all those present a fruitful discussion of the results and outlining ways to further improve postgraduate practice.

Their reports were presented by Oleksiy Ivanov (educational and scientific program "Software Engineering", scientific supervisor - Professor Vitaliy Kobets), Tetyana Bybyk (educational and scientific program "Educational and Pedagogical Sciences", scientific supervisor - Professor Yevheniya Spivakovska), Oleksandr Boguslavsky (educational and scientific program "Jurisprudence", scientific supervisor - Associate Professor Nadiya Shevchenko, Oleksiy Zakharov (educational and scientific program "Geography", scientific supervisor - Professor Daria Malchykova). The speakers' speeches included interesting suggestions and words of gratitude for the organization of the practice by scientific supervisors, guarantors of the ONP, heads of departments, the department of postgraduate and doctoral studies.

A positive analysis of cooperation with applicants during postgraduate practice was presented in the speeches of the guarantor of the ONP "Jurisprudence", Professor Vasyl Stratonov; Head of the Department of National, International Law and Law Enforcement, Associate Professor Alina Gavlovskaya.

February 28, 2025 an orientation conference on post-graduate practice for students of the second year of study was held. During the meeting, such issues as the purpose and content of the practice, terms of its implementation, preparation of reporting documentation, etc., were discussed.

On February 26, 2025, a meeting of post-graduate students of 2-4 years of study was held in a remote format. At the meeting, topical issues of preparation for the spring certification of applicants by departments and academic councils of faculties were discussed, as well as the procedure of certification by a one-time specialized academic council based on the public defense of the dissertation.

On February 19, a mixed-format scientific-methodological seminar for postgraduate students of the first year of study was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk office of the KhSU. The event was attended by Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, rector of KhSU, who emphasized that the priority of the university is quality evidence-based education and expressed hope that scientific research of first-year graduate students will be a worthy contribution to the development of Ukrainian science.

During the event, the results of the implementation of the educational and scientific component of the graduate student's individual plan for October 2024 - February 2025, the specifics of the selection of selective components, the preparation of applicants for the spring certification by the departments and academic councils of the faculties, and other important issues were also discussed.

On October 24, 2024, a meeting was held with candidates of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education of 2-4 years of training at the Kherson State University.
Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, rector of KhSU, joined the event, who outlined the conceptual principles of conducting scientific research in the conditions of the digital age and artificial intelligence for post-graduate students.
The meeting also discussed topical issues of preparing for the defense of dissertations.

On April 9, a reporting conference on post-graduate practice of students of the 2nd year of training of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education was held, at which the results, reporting materials, etc. were discussed.
Postgraduate students shared their impressions of the lectures, seminars, electives; participation in department meetings, conferences.

In the presented presentations of Evgeny Khomenko, Oleksandr Chmut, Nadiya Skobel, Mykhailo Shlyakhovchuk, Andreeva Maria, Valentina Kravtsiv, Oleksandr Soloveyka, Julia Molikevych, Yudina Natalya, Diana Kuzyakina, and Anna Lintvaryova, there were interesting suggestions and thanks for the organization of the practice by academic supervisors, ONP guarantors, heads departments, departments of postgraduate and doctoral studies.

A positive analysis of cooperation with the acquirers was presented in the speeches of the guarantor of the ONP "Jurisprudence", professor Stratonov Vasyl Mykolayovych; head of the department, assistant professor Havlovska Alina Oleksandrivna; guarantor of ONP "Educational and Pedagogical Sciences", professor Perminova Lyudmila Arkadiivna.

On March 26 and April 4, 2024, training seminars on preparing for the defense of dissertation research were held for applicants of the 1st - 4th courses of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education.

On March 1, 2024, an orientation conference on postgraduate practice was held for applicants of the 2nd year of training. During the meeting, the main issues of the content, terms of implementation, types of activities, preparation of reporting documentation, etc. were presented and discussed.
We wish all graduate students a successful internship!

On February 29, 2024, Tamara Mandych, a graduate of the KSU graduate school, successfully defended her dissertation on the topic "Lexico-semantic verbalization of the concept of SPORT in the modern Ukrainian media space" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 035 Philology. We sincerely congratulate the acquisition and scientific manager, Docent Karabuta Olena Pavlivna!

On February 7, 2024, Olena Viktorivna Stavenko, a graduate of the graduate school, successfully defended her thesis "Australian artistic ethnonarratives for children: linguistic and cultural aspect" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 035 Philology. Congratulations to Alla Oleksiivna, the acquisition and scientific head of the Goats!

We congratulate Valentyna Oleksandrivna Kalenchuk on the successful defense of her dissertation "Social and psychological factors of the development of the perceptions of teachers and students about the organizational culture of a higher education institution" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 053 "Psychology" and her scientific supervisor Professor Ihor Stepanovych Popovych.

On October 6, 2023, a solemn meeting of the winners of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education of Kherson State University took place. This year, 36 applicants in ten specialties entered the postgraduate program of our institution.

З 12 по 16 вересня 2022 р. за участі провідних науковців Херсонського державного університету, гарантів ОНП, завідувачів кафедр, наукових керівників та консультантів відбулися наукові семінари з атестації аспірантів та докторантів усіх років та форм підготовки.
Серед атестованих двоє аспірантів, що достроково завершили навчання і успішно захистили дисертації на здобуття наукового ступеня доктора філософії: Данилевський М. зі спеціальності 081 Право і Круглов К. зі спеціальності 053 Психологія.

Вітаємо  Круглова Костянтина Олександровича з успішним захистом дисертації "Соціальний капітал як чинник суб'єктивного благополуччя працівників підприємства з різним груповим статусом" на здобуття наукового ступеня доктора філософії  зі спеціальності 053 "Психологія" та його наукову керівницю- професорку Блинову Олену Євгенівну.
