On November 19, 2021, the Faculty of Culture and Arts hosted the Regional Scientific Readings "Innovative Approaches to Teaching Choreographic Disciplines in Art Institutions", organized by the Department of Choreographic Art. The scientific readings were attended by teachers of the Kherson Vocational College of Culture and Arts - Chairman of the cycle commission of the choreographic department, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Viktor Kizyakov, teachers Irina Akhmedova, Marina Andropova, Tamila Kotkova, Olesya Makagon, Tatiana Makarchuk-Shakulai, Irina; teachers of the Kherson Tavriya Lyceum of Arts - Vitaliy Okunevsky and Svitlana Bogdanova, head of the choreography department; Galina Tarabarova, head of the Dance center, Dance life, Candies pop vocal studio; director of Insight dance studio Yulia Artemenko; teachers of the Department of Choreographic Art of the Faculty of Culture and Arts of KSU - Head of the Department of Choreographic Art, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Alla Rekhlitska, Associate Professor of Choreographic Art, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Valentyn Vasyak, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Bilousenko, Anna Khodos, teachers Vitaliy Dubinin, Tetyana Shyryna, leading accompanist Iryna Kravchenko, accompanist Oleksiy Filenko.Issues were raised at the Regional Scientific Readings: the approach to teaching styles and directions of modern dance; organizational and educational activities of the head of the modern dance studio; methods, techniques and approaches to teaching and organizing the educational process of contemporary dance, modern dance, street dance styles and its directions; the process of interpreting folklore and combining it with the vocabulary of modern dance styles by applicants; synthesis and interaction of types of choreographic art; improvisations for different age groups and more.
