Conference "Ukrainian Library Association - sustainability for the future"

On November 23 and 24, 2022, the Scientific Library of Kherson State University joined the annual conference of the Ukrainian Library Association "Ukrainian Library Association - Sustainability for the Future".
The scientific library of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" sincerely opened its doors to its partners.
The Conference was opened by Oksana Bruy, Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications, President of the Ukrainian Library Association.
Also, Rostyslav Karandeev, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, congratulated and gave words of support. But it was "The Black Album: How Russian aggressors are destroying Ukrainian libraries" that particularly resonated in my soul and heart. Oleg Serbin, doctor of social communications, member of the Presidium and head of the Section of University Libraries of the Ukrainian Library Association, spoke about the main economic consequences of Russian aggression for Ukrainian university libraries. Damage to infrastructure, loss of book collections, layoffs, work stoppages and layoffs.
Acting Director of the Scientific Library Koval Alla also shared with the audience information about the state of the Scientific Library of the KhSU and how the library continued and continues to work during the war.
