Study Tour of Belarusian and Ukrainian Journalists in the Visegrad Group Countries

The International Visegrad Fund (IVF) and the Mass Media Program of the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) are hereby announcing a call for proposals in compliance with the Standard Grants – EaP program (grant program within the Visegrad 4 Eastern Partnership program)

Proposals should include the organization of joint training tour of Ukrainian and Belarusian journalists from local and regional media to the Visegrad countries. Must be scheduled consultations with representatives of the print media, radio, television and new media with a focus on the activities of regional and national media.

Tour should include exchange of experience in the following areas:

• independence of the media and editorial policy;

• financing of the media;

• preparation of local content;

• relationships with state and local authorities;

• Internet and Multimedia.

Deadline for submission of proposals: September 30, 2012.
