Germany, USA, Slovakia offer study and research programs for different levels

Future Ukraine: research grants for Ukrainian master's students and researchers.
A new DAAD program that aims to support Ukrainian universities and provide young researchers with the opportunity to contribute to Ukraine's recovery. Thanks to the program, you will be able to work on research in Germany for six months.

insurance. This is one of the many DAAD opportunities for Ukrainians and one of the thousands of programs the EU has to offer.
Who can participate: This is an opportunity for master's and PhD students, researchers, lecturers and professors who
- have Ukrainian citizenship or a residence permit issued before February 24, 2022;
- officially study or are employed at a Ukrainian university or research institution;
- have a research project related to any specialty (separate requirements apply to medicine, veterinary medicine, or dentistry);
- have a good command of German or English and a certificate to prove it.

 

"UKRAINIAN PROJECT 2024" Erasmus+ internship program in Slovakia
The consortium of Erasmus+ universities in Slovakia, WorkSpace Europe, has an ongoing project Erasmus KA107 project with Ukraine, and invites students from Ukraine to do Erasmus internships in their partner companies in Slovakia. Ukrainian students are provided with full administrative and and practical support, an EU grant, and placement in partner companies in Slovakia for
Slovakia for an Erasmus+ internship.
Start of internships: March - May 2024
Duration of the internship: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Location: mainly in Bratislava
What will you get?
➢ a full-time professional internship in a company that corresponds to your specialization
➢ financial scholarship up to 750 euros per month
➢ free accommodation (a separate room in a shared apartment with other participants)
➢ insurance coverage
➢ transportation to Slovakia;

Participation in the annual ASEEES conference in Boston (USA)
The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) is a leading international organization that annually hosts a forum where more than 2,600 scholars
exchange important research and experience. This year's conference will be held on November 21-24. This is your chance to join the event. The competition is organized by the Institute for Humanities
Institute for Humanities Research in Vienna.
Venue: Boston, USA.
What will you receive?
➢ 2,000 euros to cover all expenses related to participation in the conference.
➢ An opportunity to present your research and exchange experiences with more than 2600 scientists from around the world.

 

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program
Conducting research at universities, scientific and research institutions in the United States for a period of from three to nine months.
Qualification requirements. The competition is open to
- teachers and researchers of scientific societies, educational and research institutions of the highest level (universities, institutes, and academies) who, at the time of application have a PhD or a Doctor of Philosophy/Doctor of Arts degree at the time of application,
Doctor of Science;
- researchers without a scientific degree with a complete higher education (specialist, master's degree), with at least seven years of research experience and scientific authority in the relevant field of knowledge. in the relevant field of knowledge, with available publications (articles, monographs or chapters in monographs) in domestic and/or foreign (international) scientific professional journals.
General requirements for candidates:
✓ have Ukrainian citizenship and reside in Ukraine at the time of the competition;
✓ know English at a level sufficient for professional communication in the in the English-speaking scientific environment
