The Department of Culture and Cooperation of the Embassy of France in Ukraine announces a scholarship competition to support university mobility at the level of the 2nd year of Master's degree to higher education institutions in France

Duration: 4-6 months.
Scholarship amount: 860 euros per month.

*Due to the recent legislative changes regarding the mobility of Ukrainian students, applications at the Master's (1st year of study) or Bachelor's (4th year of study) level will be considered for this competition solely on the basis of excellent academic merit.

Candidate requirements:
- be a citizen of Ukraine under the age of 35;
- be a student of a higher education institution of Ukraine (at least in the 1st year of Master's degree) or have a diploma of higher education from a Ukrainian educational institution (Master's degree)
- reside in Ukraine at the time of application;
- have a document of enrollment or a letter of provisional enrollment from the host French educational institution. If you do not have a document, it is important to show that you have already established contact with the institution.


Criteria for granting the scholarship:
- high level of academic preparation of the candidate;
- a high-quality and well-reasoned study project with justification of professional orientation;
- knowledge of French (level B1, B2, preferably certified by an official Dalf/Delf diploma) and/or English (certified level), depending on the study project and the requirements of the host institution. The language level can be assessed during the interview during the selection process.

French government scholarship holders (BGF) receive the following services
- a monthly stipend during the months of study in France;
- exemption from payment for the consideration of documents for a student visa, guaranteed by the status of a scholarship holder of the French government;
- exemption from payment for enrollment in public institutions;
- assistance in finding student accommodation in dormitories (CROUS),
- social and medical insurance for the period of study,
- support from Campus France in organizing your stay and in administrative procedures; with a coordinator in France who is responsible for your dossier and will answer your questions.


Procedure and deadline for submitting documents:

1) Fill in the online application form for the Master's scholarship.

2) Send the full package of documents to the e-mail addresses and

Mandatory documents that must be included in the candidate's dossier (in French or English, depending on the study project)
- CV (2 pages max, word or pdf format);
- a clearly and thoroughly described study project (2 pages max., word or pdf format);
- motivation letter (1 page max., word or pdf format);
- a letter from a French educational institution confirming interest in your candidacy or a letter of provisional admission (pdf format);
- transcript of grades for the last 2 years of study (word or pdf format);
- Diploma/certificate of proficiency in French or English.

Attention!
- This competition is open only to Ukrainian students currently residing in Ukraine.
- The email address and subject line should be written in Latin characters only;
- The name of each document must begin with the last name, for example:
Olkhovyk_KNLU_СV.pdf ; Olkhovyk _KNLU_formulaire.pdf

3) After the preliminary selection by the committee, candidates will be invited to an interview, the date of which will be announced later. Given the context, the interviews may be provided online;

4) The results will be announced in June 2024. The results will be communicated individually to the email address provided in the application.

The Department of Culture and Cooperation of the Embassy of France in Ukraine and the French Institute in Ukraine cannot in any way guarantee to the selected candidates who have received a visa that the national authorities will grant them permission to leave the territory of Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation at the time of mobility.
