Call for Applications: Semester Exchange Program at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Republic of Poland)

A call for applications has been announced for students to participate in a semester exchange program during the 2024–2025 academic year at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznań, Republic of Poland.

Study Period:

Summer semester 2024/25: February 24, 2025 – July 6, 2025

Application Deadline: November 11, 2024

Before submitting your documents, please consult with the International Office to confirm the availability of your specialty at Adam Mickiewicz University.

Language of Instruction: English / Polish

Students are free to choose any discipline from the course list available here:

(more than 200 options available across various faculties). However, most of the chosen courses must be related to the student’s main field of study. All course selections must be approved by the student’s faculty.

Funding: tuition is free. Travel expenses, accommodation, health insurance, and meals are to be covered by the student.

Accommodation:

Students can find housing on their own (e.g., rent a flat) or stay in one of the university’s dormitories:
https://amu.edu.pl/en/education/amu-dormitories. Depending on the dormitory and room type, costs range from 620 to 1200 PLN per month.

Required Documents

(All documents must be approved by the relevant faculty and the Department of International Initiatives and Project Management):

  1. List of selected disciplines and completed application form (downloadable after registration).
  2. Transcript of records for the entire study period + English translation (submit as one file; translation can be done by a certified translation agency or by the student and emailed for review to: ).
  3. Electronic photo (visa format).
  4. Scanned copy of international passport.
  5. Certificate confirming English language proficiency of at least B2 level (if available).

Where will classes take place?

AMU has three campuses in the city, all accessible by public transportation (trams, buses, suburban trains). Courses are held in various faculty buildings, so depending on the student's subject choices, classes might be concentrated in one campus or spread across multiple.
